After I hung up the phone with Edwin, a heavy sense of responsibility settled over me.

Despite my reservations, I couldn't ignore the fact that my father's business empire was now in jeopardy, and I couldn't stand by while it crumbled.

With a deep breath, I tried to prepare myself for the challenges ahead.
