Chapter 59: Turning points

The tension in the room was palpable as Prince Gabriel confronted Princess Sophia about her deceitful scheme. He could see the fear and desperation in her eyes, but the weight of her betrayal had extinguished any sympathy he might have once felt.

"Sophia, I know the truth," Gabriel began, his voice laced with a mix of anger and disappointment. "I know that the child you claim to be mine is nothing more than a ploy, a desperate attempt to manipulate me and protect the identity of the real father."
