They were on their way back to the pack. Very early in the morning, Venkat, Ro and the witch had gotten in the car and set on their own to the origin of their problems. To Ro, it was like time refused to move. Day seemed to creep by slowly which put Ro in anguish as she painfully counted down the minutes to midnight. Spring had come and was almost going. Seedlings had sprouted, trees and flowers had blossomed pushing out of fertile ground with much delight. There was a fresh flowering smell in the cheery air and it seemed animals had multiplied. Vibrant green leaves formed canopies against the high temperature as lush meadows decorated the ground.
