My eyelids parted to an unknown scene. The beach was gone and I was in a room. However, the walls were made of glass, revealing the aquatic creatures swimming by. A large bed sat in the middle of the room. There was no evidence of electricity yet the room was bright.

As I was about to wonder where everyone was, Mom appeared. She flopped down on the bed.

A smile curled my lips. "Mom?"

However, she did not respond. She gazed out at the fishes swimming around us. I tried calling her again, but she ignored me. I couldn't move. Then, Craig appeared.

"Hey," Mom beamed. "You came."

Craig leaned against the glass-plated wall with his hands in his jeans pocket. "Why wouldn't I come? You did summon me here."

Mom's smile grew wider. "It's been a while since we have been able to come to this place. Several decades. It's still beautiful."
