"Today's training is going to be different," Craig announced when we were on the beach. "For us to move on, Marvelon needs to know what a true battle looks like. So, for our first session, we will show him what a true royalty defense looks like. I'm not a King but my powers are close. Aquant and Torus will attack me. I will defend myself."

Torus and Aquant shared a glance. I was a bit surprised, Craig would get involved. It was strange that he would ask them both to spar with him. Everyone bragged about both mermen. He couldn't be serious about wanting to battle the two men.

Craig laughed at the worried look on the men's faces. "Don't worry, I won't release all my powers. After all, this is just a practice match. Besides, you two should be able to take me."

Torus scoffed. "We both know you are more powerful than a regular King." He grumbled something else under his breath.

Craig lifted a brow. "Don't tell me you are scared."
