"What the f**k" was the only thing he could say, he was not sure if he should be angry or happy that Alice made him feel that way. Valentino sat still for a while. There was a moment of silence after Alice had mentioned about the dinner with the Fax family to Theo. At this point Theo was speechless, he glanced at Alice for a while before getting his voice back."Will you be in attendance?" That was the only question that could come to Theo's mind right now. He wasn't ready to think because it would only turn out to be disastrous considering his current state of mind."Not having dinner with the Fax family is the deal No she said Hillary Holla was going to be in attendance as well, my question is, As What? Why should he be there?" Alice was quietly regaining her thinking, she knew Theo wouldn't have the perfect answer to her questions but she had to ask them out even though not to Theo."Wait, let's get things straight. Your mom called to inform you that you are being invited to a family dinner party with people that don't even consider you one and that Hillary Holla, that dickhead, will be in attendance? Right?" Alice nodded her head in response

The tension in the room was something inevitable for Tullah, she could watch Saul burn in flames which depicted that at this verge he could do anything to her right now. She bit down on her lips nervously as Saul stood right in front of her holding the vase she had spent her savings to buy. "Now will you tell me how this happened and who bought it or should I let loose of this on your head?" Saul asked, pointing the glass vase directly to Tullah's face who was already seated on the floor with a bleeding nose. "Saul all I have ever wished for is to continue working so I can be competent enough to endorse you with our home snouts, is that so much to request for?" Tullah let out bitterly. At this point, Tullah had these feelings of regrets written all over her at this wink, she couldn't wish for anything more than going back to her parents though she knew they would never take her back in, "Who would have?". She has been facing some ups and downs with Saul ever since they moved into

Normally, the Maryland maternal hospital is always a crowded place filled with people with different diseases, infections, health issues, or others. Stepping into the hospital with fewer people seen than usual was a huge surprise and a relief as well. "At least, I won't wait in line this time around," Tullah said to herself. She walked over to the nurse's table to book an appointment with the doctor and luckily for her, the doctor was free for her now so she headed in with no delays. "Good morning doctor" She greeted as the doctor ushered her to sit on his office couch. "Good morning to you young lady, how may I help you?" The doctor asked even without lifting his eye away from the papers he had been looking at when Tullah had walked in. He was more focused on those papers than he was on the lady who was sitting in his office. Tullah noticed how drawn the doctor was to those papers that he was finding it difficult to concentrate on her, so she seized the opportunity to stare aro

Valentino was all set for the day, he wore a black suit with a colorful tire, standing at the front of his house in wait for Alice's arrival. Not long after he came outside, a black limousine entered the house."Hi, Valentino '' Alice whispered as she saw him come into the car seat beside her. She held a big smile that almost felt fake on her lips, she stared at Valentino for God knows how long and fit what reason. "I think getting to look at a handsome man could help relieve stress." Thinking of these words she was screaming in her head made her laugh out a bit which made Valentino look her way. Alice only waved at him before he could stop staring."So where are we headed?" Alice questioned."To an audition, where mostly all influential men will be in attendance and expected to be all lovey-dovey in their presence. The act is mostly needed because knowing fully well that we are newly wedded, that's how we are to appear and not the other way round" Valentino explained while Alice list

It was a new day, the sun was not as bright as it used to be. Instead, it had the cloud take its place. One can't get to know the direction the sun was headed but daily activities of life have to go on with or without the sunset.Theo woke up to his eyes all puffed regarding the tears shedding from last night. He had a little headache which made him wish to stay in bed for a longer while and he did but was no longer sleeping. He recalled back on what had happened last night, the mysterious dinner meeting with his family. He took his phone and checked what the time said and it was eight minutes past eight. He tried standing up but got shaken down to his bed by dizziness, with his eyes rolling like he had entered a rolling wheel.Alice woke up earlier but couldn't hear a sound from Theo's room which shows that he was yet to wake up. She knew it was not likely for her to wake up before Theo so maybe he's got sick from the heartbreaks of last night. She immediately packed her hair up in a

My baby" She hurriedly went closer to Valentino's bed and hugged him so tight that he couldn't make a sound."M..om. Am…choki..ng" He struggled the words out of his lips which caused Mr. Daniel to break out into laughter and Alice only smiled while watching the love flowing between them. Alice couldn't smile anymore just as she was reminded of her mom who had been held as a prisoner. She stumbled out of the room as she was at the edge of tears. Mrs. Annabelle was a bit surprised why Alice moved away the way she did but she didn't stress it though "Maybe she had to use the restroom urgently" She thought to herself and then moved her focus back on her son."How do you feel Baby?"
