28. Cross the Line

"You know what?" Prince whispered between seductive gasps. "I've tried to restrain myself as best I can, but you keep pushing me to cross the line."

Emily replied softly. "What's holding you back from approaching me? What makes you hesitate?"

Prince looked into Emily's gray eyes with a sad look. His thumb stroked her cheek gently.

"Can you be patient?"

Emily snorted. Looking away, she brushed Prince's hand off her arm.

"Why do you keep asking me to be patient? I'm tired, Prince. I can't hold back my curiosity any longer. Why don't you just admit that you are Cayden?"

Prince gritted his teeth. "I can't. I'm not—"

"You're Cayden, right?" Emily insisted with her most serious expression.

Prince sighed heavily. "Sorry, Miss Harper. Please don't think of me as Cayden."

Feeling annoyed, Emily threw a punch at Prince. Several times she hit the broad chest. However, her anger only overflowed.

"Then why did you dare kiss me if you're not Cayden? Why? You like playing with me
