That's when his phone rang he jumped clearly startled by the noise. in his still somewhat relaxed state he answered the phone and realized that it was his friend Mack Paulin. Mac was another detective in this sister force to the one that Max actually worked for. They often would help each other by looking at the case files and giving their opinions on what they should do if things were becoming difficult. Mack was also a part of the case almost five years ago where Deanna had been the one to find the small piece of evidence that lead to where he found the body of Mac and his wife henny his friend. That happened a beginning for Max himself however it was also the ending of a chapter for Mac and his wife. They had been able to close that particular chapter and move on to a much happier one.

for once Max was actually enjoying being in the dungeon. Every time he actually thought of Deanna he was getting a little overheated and he knew it wasn't because of the his office. His office had always remained exactly the same temperature it was slightly cooler than every where else. It was good to work in the summertime though he didn't actually come in very often during the summer. If he was going to work he would drive out to the precinct and be in his office. The two went down every single aisle of the grocery store and it was over learning experience for Max. Though he was going to have his fun as well. Every time she asked if there was something that he actually enjoyed eating he would smile wolfishly at her and that would bring her to blush. the next morning Max knew that he had to open up his office for office hours for three to four hours. The next few days Max was completely engrossed in going over the course from the beginning to the end. He had already rewritten at once and now he was going to make it more specific period he was already looking up case files and everything else that he could possibly do to get everything completely set. When he did get there he was ushered into their conference room and he passed out the folders to the three Deans of the different academies. Max had been surprised the entire night. Everybody had been on their best behavior when they actually saw Deanna standing next to him. And then of course the two kids.
