The second

Eventually Lily braced herself up, reminding herself that it was her dream to be at the top and clear herself of the lower standard everyone pinned on her. She shrugged, warming up.

They were led to the maze and the game started in no time. Lily could hear footsteps but she didn't focus on that. Her mind was only on how to get out of the maze. Every path she took felt like she was doing nonsense. At some point, she stopped and sobbed.

Thirty minutes later, she was still finding the exit. Her entire body was already tensed and her legs were shaky from walking endlessly.

The maze was deep and large. As expected, confusing as well. However, when Lily paused and started to listen to the flow of air, she got out in no time.

It was unbelievable at first when she felt herself on the outside of the maze. Or when she heard the congratulations and then pulled the blindfold. She saw two teachers on the other side.
