It was like dawn came about all of a sudden and I found myself across Belle’s house again.
As usual, her mum hugged and kissed her goodbye and I waved with excitement. I wanted to tell her about what Laura had said yesterday.
“Blondie!”, I smiled before we began heading to school. “Guess what happened last night”
She looked toward me, still walking. “What?”
“Laura sent me that link, and it led to a …..”, I felt my lips freeze as my phone beeped. I picked it up to see a warning from the game.
Huh?
“It led to a what?”. Belle queried.
“A …”, my phone beeped again and I received a warning that I’d be killed the third time. I wasn’t really scared, just surprised. “Like, I almost got hacked after tapping it”. I tried to laugh it off.
