Chapter Six: Bullies

'In fairness to you, Gavin, you look so handsome. It's unfortunate because your parents are doing illegal, and you must be, too. ’ - Elize thought

Elize grins a little.  Somebody's getting close to her.

"Lindsey,"  Elize said without even looking around

"Oh, my goodness, how sharp your senses are!" Lindsey said as she approached her laughter.

"You're the only one I know who has that kind of walking rhythm," Elize said smiley.

“Rhythm? What's that supposed to mean?  Do you think I'm a walking dancer? ” Lindsey replied.

Elize laughed. Lindsey was her first friend in college three years back. They were in their first year when she saw the I.G (It Girls) making fun of Lindsey.  As well as being brunette, her hair is curly, her teeth are not beautiful which is remarkable because she likes to smile. During the holidays, the braces she wore were removed, she also learned to fix herself and take care of her hair through a regular hair spa.

Until now, Lindsey did not know that Elize had donated the investment to her parents to start a business. She helped her family with the kindness and care she received from them.

"Every step you take is numbered, you probably don't know it. Before your foot hits the cement, it's going to take five seconds. ” Elize explained.

"You're irritating, does my step always mean something to you?" said Lindsey.

Elize laughed. Lindsey leaned toward Elize through the window.

"I met the basketball team just now, they look great, especially Lucian." Lindsey's funny story.

"Did I assume your crush was in the football team?" Elize asked.

"He is Dark, I had a crush on him too. The truth is, I love them both. ” Lindsey explained.

Elize laughed. She knew the name Lindsey spoke, but she didn't know what they looked like. Though they were popular in their college, she never took any interest in these men or anyone else.

"Do you think they'll notice me?" said Lindsey

"Why not? And even if those men can't see you, somebody else will appreciate your beauty. ” Elize replied.

"If I'm as beautiful and sexy as you are, maybe now, they're my boyfriend," said Lindsey

Elize just laughed. "So maybe destiny won't let them notice you because you'll hurt them both. ”

Lindsey frowned. "So you want me to choose between them?"

“Jeez, you're serious, Lindsey! ” said Elize

They were distracted when the class moved out of the room. The boys are trying to attract Elize's attention. But Elize never looked at 'em.

“Your appeal is very strong, Liz. It's enviable! ” said Lindsey

Elize didn't say a word. After all the students left, they sat in the middle.

"I got some gossip," said Lindsey.

"What is it now?" said Elize. "Is this Derek stuff again?"

“No! " Lindsey said. "It is funny, I promise! Do you know Ella? ” Lindsey asked

Elize frowned and shook her head. She doesn't have time to meet people who were not her target. They were just stressing her out.

"Haven't you heard of Ella?" asked Lindsey.

"How about this Ella?" asked Elize.

"Ella had a surprise for Dark, Dark probably discovered her surprise because it didn't happen. Epic fail.  Ella would be upset about the soccer teams because they didn't even help her after she paid all their bills last night at the bar. ”Lindsey whispered

Elize laughed at Lindsey's story. "In fairness, you got a funny story today."

"I have told you it is funny. Dark will ignore her whatever happens. Dark has its world. ” Said Lindey

"Is that true?" asked Elize.

"Yes, I am his world!" chuckled Lindsey.

Elize laughed again.  "Geez, Lindsey you're so korny today!"

"Dark, hang on!"

Dark keeps walking, ignoring the woman who calls him. Dark gets a message from Azra that ten troubled souls are to be freed from the room.

Ella was already holding Dark's arm. So Dark stopped and looked towards the woman behind him.

“Why don't you stop even though I'm calling you? I get tired of chasing you. ” Ella's complaint

Ella is beautiful, she took part in a beauty contest and had the opportunity to win.  Now she prepares herself for international competition. But Dark had no interest in the woman.

"You'll do this forever if you don't stop now." Dark simply said.

Ella frowned. "Do you dislike me?"

"Any mortal being." Said Dark

"Haist, whatever you say. Why do you dislike me? I have so many suitors that have been turned down because of you. ” Said, Ella

“I know because I delivered them. They are pitiful because they will spend thousands of years in the chamber of Calvary. ” Said Dark

Ella was astounded at what Dark said.  “Calvary room?  Pick up and deliver? What's that supposed to mean? Do you sell online now?”

"If you do not understand what I said, the level of your way of thinking never reaches mine," said Dark.

He turned his back to Ella and left. He would just walk to their office using the chemistry building.  She frowned while staring at Dark.

Elize and Lindsey finished their class early.  They were on their way to the cafeteria when they were intercepted by an I.G.  (It Girls). Those are the women she met this morning.

"Off my path," Elize said calmly.

She stared at the woman like she was their boss.

“If we won't leave? Is there anything you can do? " Said the woman's big eyebrows.

Six of them laughed a little bit.

"There is."  Said Elize

"Your courage is truly a woman." The woman said in anger.

“Elize, don't tell me you're going to fight them? We can't afford them, there are so many of them. ” Lindsey whispered

Elize smiled a bit and stared at the woman again.

"I have not yet avenged your abduction of my boyfriend and you will pay now." Said the woman, Hana.

Hana put up her hand and got ready to hit her.  Lindsey froze, thinking it would hit Elize in the face, but Elize held Hana's wrist. Then Hana was pushed so the woman sat on the floor. Hana's comrades immediately approached her.

"You are truly a woman of courage!" laughed Hana when she stood up.

One woman murmured something to Hana and then looked at Lindsey and Elize.

"We're not done yet," Said Hana

And then they left.  Elize looked at the women leaving.

"Are you okay, Liz?"  Lindsey asked

Elize smiled. "Of course. They will surely strike back. So take care of your actions, don't let them come near you. ”

"Are they angry with me as well?" Lindsey asked.

“Well, they can use you if they cannot get even with me. You still bring pepper spray, don't you? ” Elize asked.

Lindsey nodded.  "Use that on them when you got hurt and I'm not with you," said Elize.

"Okay."  Lindsey just said

The basketball team was seated in the gymnasium when one of their teammates, Kris, arrived.

"Your girl is very famous, Andrew," says Kris.

Andrew furrowed at Kris. "What do you mean?"

“She is jealous again.  She has been bullying other students. ”  Said, Kris

Kris gave Andrew his phone. Others, Lucian among them, were watching.

‘Vanessa?  (Elize) ' - Lucian's thought.

The video shows six women blocking the two women emerging from the cr.  So the woman was about to slap one of the two stranded, but the woman grasped the hand of one of the six. The woman beside one of them bent down, covering her ears. While holding her hand, the girl pushed the woman as she sat down on the cement.

"She's the architecture student, you had the hots for, right, Andrew?" Keneth laughs.

"Your girlfriend was jealousy," Mikel said.

Andrew reached for his head. "Because of this photoshop that Josh did."

"Hana saw the photo?" said Josh.

“I told her it was just photoshop and she didn't believe it. This is a real embarrassment.  I will break up with Hana. ” Andrew said he looked troubled.

"Speak to her first," said Lucian.

"I talked to Hana a few times, man, and she's still doing it," said Andrew.

“Doesn't she have reason to be jealous? Maybe there is a history. ”  Lucian said

Andrew turned to Lucian.  "This is already happening.  “

“Andrew left his girlfriend than for Hana.  Maybe it's karma, dude! ” says Mikel

Two hands now rest on the knee of Andrew, who rests his head.

"Are you still fond of your girlfriend?" Lucian asked.

"I love her, dude, but her jealousy is exhausting."  Said, Andrew

"If you truly love him, do not leave him, speak to him again, but if in your heart your relationship is not healthy anymore. Talk to each other and split up. ”  Said, Lucian

Andrew did not answer.  That appears to be even more problematic.
