Chapter 2001

Sean drove to Midwich police station.

There were not many people in the police station. After all, it was not every day that someone came to the police station to report a crime.

Most police officers were looking at their phones or playing on the computer at their workstations. The police officers in charge of reception in the lobby were also idle.

Just after Sean entered the police station lobby, a police officer who was smoking approached and asked, "Hello, how can I help you?"

"I'm here to see your chief, Gabe."

It was because people always addressed Gabe as "Chief Police Wholeton" whenever they came to the police station to see him. For example, "I have something to talk to Chief Police Wholeton about" or "Chief Police Wholeton invited me here." However, Sean surprised the police officer by calling Gabe
