Finding A Hire Room

Meikha stared at the iron fence gate with a face filled with satisfied eyes. Because finally, she was able to find the address of this house with great difficulty. After quite satisfied looking at the gate, Meikha then pressed the bell located near the gate.

Meikha pressed the bell three times. Until finally the gate of the gate moved and opened. One female figure in her forties opened the gate and looked at Meikha's face in a friendly manner.

"Sorry ma'am, excuse me. Are there any rooms that can be rented out or not? ” asked Meikha.

"Do you want to hire it?" asked the mother while watching Meikha's appearance.

"Are you in college or have you worked?" asked the owner of the boarding house.

Meikha is getting more of a dilemma, it seems that if a student's price is cheaper it was still supported by their parents. Meanwhile, if people work, the rent will certainly be adjusted because they already have income security.

"For students, the monthly rent was five hundred thousand, for those who are already working it's one million, but the facilities are different. Students cannot air conditioners and bathrooms together. But for the girl who is already working, the room will have air conditioning and the bathroom was inside. " The mother explained her rental room facilities.

Meikha wants to choose the student-type rental price because the money she has now is only enough to pay for a month's rent for a month's room and meals in the next few days. Her deceiving soul is called.

"Aamiin, let me take you to your room," said the mother and then led Meikha into the yard of the house. The mother's boarding house was very spacious. There are two buildings. One building may be her private house. And a 2-story building with several doors to boarding rooms. Looks like there are twenty rooms rented over.

"There are student rooms on the second floor," said the mother explained.

"Oh yes ma'am, by the way, what do I call you?" asked Meikha.

"Just call me Mrs. Lily, the mother replied friendly.

"Oh Mrs. Lily, thanks to you for letting me rent a room here!" Meikha said.

"Yes, you're welcome, my rental room was indeed the cheapest among the boarding houses in this area. But even though it's cheap, there are still rules that must be obeyed here. Uh yes, what's your name, son? " asked Mrs. Lily.

"My name is Meikha Bunda," answered Meikha with a smiling face.

"Where are you from?" asked Mrs. Lily as she stepped onto the steps to the second floor.

"I'm from Surabaya ma'am," answered Meikha.

"Oh from Surabaya." Mrs. Lily then opened one of the bedroom doors at the very end of the second floor.

"This is the key," said Mrs. Lily then gave her room key.

"Oh yes, later you will give a photocopy of your KTP, along with the rent for the room this afternoon. Now you just rest first! " said Mrs. Lily understandingly giving time and opportunity to Meikha who seemed exhausted. Of course, she was very tired after going around searching for the address. And it was only late afternoon that she found this address.

After Mrs. Lily left, Meikha then closed her bedroom door and immediately saw the contents of her room. There is only one bed with a single bed. One small wardrobe and one table with a table fan on it. Not bad enough. And for the bathroom, indeed the bathroom for this type of student boarding room must be shared and together.

And earlier Meikha had seen three bathrooms on the far right and two bathrooms on the left. And the number of rooms on this floor is 10. So one bathroom can be used by one or two people. What is certain is that maybe Meikha will use the bathroom closest to the door of her room.

Four sets of regular clothes and one set are white shirt and black trousers. That she will use to apply for jobs. Meikha also secured a plastic folder containing all the important documents. After everything was taken out, Meikha then grabbed the last object she took out of her bag. A picture frame, that photo is a photo of Mother Eva. She was the caregiver at the orphanage. Only she is the parent she has. Eva's mother Meikha considered her mother and father while in the orphanage. But it's been five years since Mother Eva passed away.
