Chapter 5: Fairy Qi's Seduction

Ling Huai laughed. Pu Chengji looked absolutely dumbstruck.

“Who is she?”

“No way, Brother Huai, you don't even know about Fairy Qi? Right, you're new here…” Pu Chengji’s eyes were shining, his breathing became quick. “She's a freshman in the music department. Her real name is Liu Meiqi, but she's known as a Fairy Qi. She's not just beautiful, she’s very good at seducing people. There's at least seven guys chasing after her, but she usually changes who she's dating every other day. She's one of the four freshman princesses. Wei Qimian is one too.”

“Four princesses? You guys ridiculous…”

Even though it was silly, Lin Huai had to admit that Liu Meiqi had a naturally flirtatious aura. She might not even do it intentionally, but her every move was smooth and seductive. Even he found it hard to resist. These boys in this school didn't stand a chance.

Liu Meiqi walked towards them, the entrancing scent of her perfume drifting with her. Liu Meiqi grabbed Lin Huai's arm, guiding him away with a sweet smile.

Pu Chengji's eyes almost fell out from shock. What was going on? He'd just said he didn't know her. Had he already scored a princess on his first day of school. Pu Chengji didn't dare to leave, so he crouched in the shade and waited, watching the process curiously.

Lin Huai didn't expect that Liu Meiqi would try to speak to him alone. After all, Liu Meiqi was still angry with him in the morning. What was she trying to do? Was she hoping to seduce him? What should he do? Confront her? Just go out with her for a day or two?

Smelling Liu Meiqi's seductive fragrance, feeling the softness of Liu Meiqi's chest against his arm, Lin Huai couldn't help feeling a bit of temptation.

Leading them into the nearby woods, Liu Meiqi held herself against Lin Huai's body. Her long eyelashes fluttered.

“You’re quite capable. Even Second Lei couldn't beat you.”

Lin Huai laughed.

“Are you here because I beat up Second Lei? Or maybe you are fascinated by my heroism, so you came here to seduce me?”

“You're right.” Liu Meiqi's soft hand slowly slid under Lin Huai’s shirt and stroked his chest gently. “I like fit guys, strong guys, guys with courage…”

Liu Meiqi's long nails gently ran across Lin Huai’s nipples, sending electricity through him. The desire went right to his pants. Liu Meiqi giggled.

Lin Huai caught the hand that was caressing his chest, looking at her with an aggressive grin.

“Giving me a taste of something so sweet, aren’t you afraid I'll eat you up?”

Liu Meiqi stepped back, and Lin Huai laughed out loud at the sight, expression losing it's sheen of desire. Liu Meiqi immediately realized that she'd been tricked.

“You bastard! You want to do it here? We should at least find a hotel.” She stomped her feet nervously, but she still tried to look cute and flirty.

“Even if I took you to the hotel, would anything really happen? I didn't expect that the legendary Fairy Qi who has stolen so many hearts was actually all bark and no bite.”

Liu Meiqi's blushed.

“If you don't believe it, let's go and book a room right now.”

“I don't think so,” Lin Huai said with a smile, “I'm a gentleman. You could lie in front of me naked, and I wouldn't feel a thing. I was just curious if you'd actually do it.”

Liu Meiqi felt horribly exposed, but she kept her calm and flirty expression.

“It’s not like I won’t hook up with you, but I'd rather take it slow. How about that? Do you want to be my boyfriend?”

“I don't.”

Liu Meiqi clearly did not expect Lin Huai to refuse. A bit of her composure dropped.

“Am I not pretty enough for you?”

“You're beautiful. No ordinary man could resist you.”

“Aren't you an ordinary man?”

“I just believe good things don't just happen for no reason. I may be handsome, but I don't think you'd just fall in love with me at first sight. Is it that you heard I beat up Second Lei? Or is there another reason?”

Liu Meiqi forced herself not to panic. She was starting to get confused and angry.

“The freshman class has four beautiful princesses. I don't like people acting like Wei Qimian is the only one who matters.”

“So you heard that I got along with Wei Qimian and wanted to claim me for yourself?”

“That’s right. I've kept on eye on Wei Qimiam. She doesn't usually talk to boys, but she talked and laughed with you. I have trouble believing she's not interested.”

Was Wei Qimian actually interested? It was inconvenient, looking like this. These girls were too distracting.

“You're a beautiful girl, but I have to reject you. I'm sorry.”

Liu Meiqi's pulled herself closer to Lin Huai.

“Don't be so hasty. Don’t you want me to be your woman…?”

“No. I don't.” Lin Huai pushed Liu Meiqi away. Liu Meiqi looked at him in pure rage, but Lin Huai smiled indifferently, “I'm not a gentleman. I have nothing to lose if I fool around with you, but I hate to be used by other people. To be honest, I'm more than you know how to handle.”

After Lin Huai finished speaking, he turned and walked away.

Liu Meiqi had never been so soundly rejected. Her face was pale with anger.

“You beat up Second Lei. Big Lei will definitely seek revenge. If you're willing to be my boyfriend, I'll protect you!”

“Do I look like I can't protect myself?”

Lin Huai waved at her and walked away without looking back.

“You... You…” Looking at Lin Huai’s silhouette, Liu Meiqi stomped her feet. “Don't think that Big Lei will be as weak as Second Lei. Without my protection, you're dead!”

Lin Huai ignored her. He strolled over to Pu Chengji.

“Let’s go and eat.”

Park Chengji, who had been drawing circles in the dirt, stood up. He could smell the perfume on Lin Huai’s body, and looked at Lin Huai pitifully, as if Lin Huai had snatched his wife.

Lin Huai laughed.

“Enough, Liu Meiqi asked me out, but I refused. If you like her, she's still single.”

“Ah?” Pu Chengji was a little stunned. “You actually rejected Fairy Qi? Brother Huai, you could still change your mind. You shouldn’t give up such a rare opportunity just for me.”

“..” Lin Huai wanted to tell the boy he was mistaken, but it would be helpful if Pu Chengji felt like he was in Lin Huai's debt. Instead, he changed the topic, “Is Big Lei difficult to deal with?”

“Zhang Chunlei?" Pu Chengji looked nervous. “He's going to take revenge for Second Lei, right? Brother Huai, why don’t you go and hide. It doesn't matter if you're absent for a few days. I can't help you out of this. Even people under him are frightening.”

Pu Chengji seemed terrified. Zhang Chunlei was going to be troublesome. Lin Huai wasn’t angry at him for not wanting to fight. He couldn't ask the boy to risk his life for him, especially since he wasn't much of a fighter. Pu Chengji’s job was to listen for information or run errands.

Pu Chengji smiled bitterly.

Even the seniors don't dare cross him, and all of them are fierce fighters. The freshmen still hold back a lot, but the sophomores are different. “It sounds like he's much more dangerous them.”

“On the first day of school, Big Lei sent three underlings to sweep out the entire computer science major's freshmen,” Pu Chengji said nervously. “They surround every class, one at a time, and those who disobeyed were beaten up. He wanted to have the department to know about Big Lei. It's rumored that two stubborn students had their ribs broken and still haven't come back to school.”

“And the schools doesn't care?” Lin Huai asked, surprised.

“They couldn’t control it.” Pu Chengji sighed. “That's why I wanted to join you. Without a strong boss, every day here will be hell.”

Lin Huai was silent. He wasn’t afraid of Big Lei, but he could see why Wei Sihai was worried about his daughter going to school here. Madam Wei had established this school to give children a bright future. If Madam Wei knew about the school’s current state, would she be able to rest in peace…?
