Margot didn’t get a break in the following days. She was busy convincing Vivian to let her go for a business trip, but as it wasn’t part of her job, she was refused. Ultimately, Margot insisted on getting a three-day leave while planning to visit their branches abroad.

Meanwhile, Harry had to work from home for the entire week because of his condition. Although he was slowly recovering, he never missed a day calling his secretary to come and ‘serve’ him.

“Wow. Just wow…” Margot clicked her tongue. After a rough day, she just came out of the shower and decided to check the footage from the security cameras installed in their house. She wasn’t expecting much, knowing that Harry couldn’t get his thing up after the incident.

Surprisingly, Harry seemed to recover faster than she thought he would. He was so full of vigor that he even managed to copulate with his mistress.

Nadine moaned breathlessly on top of the office table while occasionally screaming for Harry’s name. She rolled her eyes

“Good morning, Margot. You look… Energetic,” Leo smiled as he sat on the opposite side of the table, facing his patient.Margot smiled back, her eyes sparkling. “I’m leaving the country tonight,” she replied.Leo nodded. “Business trip?” He tilted his head to the side, watching her shake her head. He couldn’t help smiling seeing her grinning from ear to ear.“Nah. Just taking a break with a twist,” she said, laughing to herself.“A twist?” Leo’s brows furrowed a little. “What do you mean?”Margot hummed. “Let’s say, I’m preparing for something big, so I have to keep my enemies in check. That cheater did it with his other woman in my house,” she grumbled. “He was going out of line, right? I’m going to teach him a lesson for that.”Leo suddenly felt an ominous aura coming from Margot. “Tell me it’s not something dangerous,” he gulped.“I think it’s not. Well, my jerk of a husband is going for a business trip and he’ll be taking his mistress aka secretary. I wanted to go with them but th

For Margot, everything was perfect. She enjoyed seeing how Harry and Nadine acted awkward toward each other with her around. She even offered Nadine to swap seats in the plane since she took a premium first-class, while the two reserved their seats in business class. When Nadine declined Margot’s offer, the latter asked her husband to join her in the first-class suite instead. As much as Harry couldn’t freely say ‘no’ to his wife, he had no choice but to leave his secretary and stay with Margot in her suite.“Isn’t this nice? I don’t have to worry now that we’re in the same suite,” Margot smiled at her husband. “Besides, your secretary must be enjoying now that she could finally take a break without you for a short while.”Harry frowned, his gaze locked on his wife’s amused face. “This is a business trip, not a vacation. Didn’t I tell you not to bother me?”“Am I bothering you? If that’s how you feel, why don’t we ask Nadine to keep me company here then you can go back to the business

“Excuse me,” the hotel manager came to greet Margot. “Welcome to Lutos Hotel. I will lead the way to your suite,” she said, gesturing to the guys behind her to take care of Margot’s luggage.Margot smiled, turning her back to Harry and Nadine. “Please. I’m quite tired after the long flight,” she mumbled, her voice soft. The manager nodded and led Margot to the elevator. Meanwhile, Harry couldn’t believe Margot left just like that. He hurried to catch up with her but the elevator door closed before he could join her inside.“Harry! What are we gonna do now?” Nadine asked, raising her voice slightly. She was looking forward to their business trip, knowing they’d be alone, but Margot just had to ruin it.Harry groaned and went back to the reception desk where Nadine left their luggage. “What else? I’m going to stay in my room. You should rest too. I have an important meeting tomorrow,” he mumbled and walked into the elevator.Nadine followed him with a grumpy face. “You should have not al

“Damn it!” Harry cursed under his breath. He pulled away from Nadine to face his wife who looked at them, dumbfounded. “This isn’t what you think, hon.”Margot raised her left eyebrow. Her mouth slightly opened but no words came out of it. She had a lot of things to say but contemplated.“I was… I was just helping Nadine. We’re not doing anything. You see, we’re just in an awkward position but—” Harry stopped talking when he saw his wife smiling. “Margot…”“What are you talking about?” Margot stepped inside the elevator with a confused look on her face. “Did something happen to your secretary? I don’t think your room is on this floor,” she said, looking clueless as much as possible.Harry loosened his tie to breathe. “Nadine fell so I had to catch her. That’s why you caught us in that awkward position,” he said, giving his secretary a meaningful look.Nadine nodded and cleared her throat. “That’s right,” she stuttered. “I fell,” her voice cracked for a second. “Thank you for helping m

Margot took a deep breath after waking up the next morning. She finished a bottle of wine and managed to sleep in bed after getting drunk. She couldn’t help celebrating the small win she had.Dragging her body out of the bed, Margot took a shower. She spent a good ten minutes washing off the stench of alcohol from her body. She blew her hair dry, dressed up, and went to check on her husband. She wondered if he was able to manage his work and his secret affair.“Margot? What are you doing here?” Harry yawned after opening the door when Margot didn’t stop knocking. “I told you, don’t disturb me. I came here to work, not to go sightseeing with you,” he added.“Coming from you? Look at yourself. It’s already past 9 in the morning and you just woke up,” Margot sneered, shaking her head in disappointment.Harry’s eyes almost jumped out of their sockets when he checked the time. “Damn it! Harry was pacing back and forth, holding his phone while calling Margot. It had been two days since he came back from a business trip and Margot still hadn’t returned. He never felt so uneasy before without seeing his wife.“I can’t believe she’s not picking up,” he groaned, tossing his phone on the coach. “How dare she maxed my card. I was saving it for the future! She shouldn’t be using my money,” Harry said, grabbing his hair in frustration. He was wondering why there was a problem with his card so he called the bank as soon as he returned. To Harry’s surprise, he was told that he had zero balance in his account. He didn’t know how it happened but aside from him, only Margot had access to his account.Harry didn’t expect Margot to go against him or do something without telling him first. So, why should I let her stay with us?” Margot walked past him and headed to her car.Harry followed behind while trying to convince her. “This is only temporary.
