I had been locked in this dumb room for hours. Alex really was going to force me to stay here forever. I needed to eat because of Blake so when my stomach started growling my anxiety kicked in. What if he forgot that I needed to eat because Gods don't need food unless they're pregnant.

He wouldn't forget right. It seemed like at that moment he decided to open the door. He saved me from my panic. When he walked in I went to snap but paused because he looked horrible. His hair was a mess and he looked stressed out. His eyes were tired and his tie looked like it had been tugged on. He held his hand out and I looked at it and hesitated.

"You need to eat." He said with not as much force as before. What happened to him. He was angry that I wouldn't come back earlier and now he looked tired but I was here now.

Was the rebels a problem again? It seemed like I took to long because he just shook his head and teleported out. I was about to panic but the door clicked open making me

Someone had killed Alex and used a forbidden spell to make my soul leave my body. That could only mean one thing that someone was trying to take control before Alex had re-married. I only knew this because my mom had told me about a forbidden spell that could be used when two Gods had a soul bond and one of the souls died or lost connection somehow. As soon as the soul lost connection someone would start up the forbidden spell causing the soul missing it's other half to leave the Gods body to go and search for the missing half. The soul would become lost searching forever for the connection it longs for. Unless I got lucky which was rare, I would be soulless forever. Someone could control me and I wouldn't be able to do nothing because I would be a shell of myself. Emotionless. The only solution is death. The two parts of me would reconnect. My life would be meaningless unless I killed myself. "Hey beautiful." Someone in front of me said. I focused my eyes and everythin

The look on Alex's face looked like he was in pain. "Are you hurting?" I asked as I watched his eyes turn a black. Zavier came forward and whispered in Alex's ear. Did all his friends really betray him or did the whole royal board get replaced? "Fine. If it back fires." Alex said as he grinded his teeth. "You know you could break your teeth with how much you are grinding them." I stated as I looked around. I picked up the spoon of whatever it was and watched the food slide off of it. There wasn't much to do. "Mazaya can you tell me which one of these are real and not?" Zavier ask me. I looked up to him setting down two ancient looking books. The forbidden books to be exact. I touched both of the covers already knowing which one was fake and which one wasn't. "If I do this for you, will you let me do what I want?" I asked. Everyone looked at me with multiple expressions. Doing pointless things was just pointless to me. I was content with doing nothing and be

Alex went to grab me but within seconds the book had everyone frozen in their spots besides me of course. All anyone else could do was look. I skimmed through the book before I looked at Alexander. "Oh yea this is how close you were to the hidden temple." I said as I opened up the portal leading to the most powerful temple known to any God. "Mazaya what have you done? Close that up." Klaus my old friend said as he came walking up beside me. " You know if you would've taken my powers this would've never had happened." I said as I closed the portal and the book. Klaus was my oldest friend. "We're not getting into this Mazaya. It's to late and I couldn't help you control the darkness. It would've consumed me and since we ran out of time with trying to get rid of the darkness this was the best plan." Klaus said as he grabbed my hand. He paused and looked into my eyes. "Fuck. What did you tell him?" Klaus asked. "You know if you would let me think and keep my memorie

"Mazaya let's go. You've been standing still for awhile now and it's time to go." Klaus ordered out as he grabbed my hand. Gaining ones soul back wasn't pleasant. Every emotion was just eating away at me right now. I looked down at my now flat stomach and sorrow hit me. "I missed my birth. My son." I sobbed as I realized I had my son and just laid there for hours while I waited. Klaus wiped away my tears before he was pulling me through a portal. "You had to do it Mazaya. You were losing and it was the only way to save the universe." Klaus said as he walked me through a abandoned forest. I just stayed silent because what more could I do or say. I had my son and Klaus gave him up to save the universe. "Alexander is to dangerous for you to ever go around. He was trying to have his soul fix the bond with yours." Klaus said which had me pausing. I could feel that the bond we had was no longer broken. How could he fix it that fast? I wasn't dangerously in love with him bu

(A few days before Luther got his memories back. Mazaya's pov past memories) I had been trying to get ahold of Klaus for months but he went off the grid so receiving his sos today has done nothing for my nerves. I looked around the library he had me meet him at. We've meet here for as long as Ive known him so I knew he's not an imposter. I protected his mind so that when the time came if he had been missing for too long we would only meet at one place. I looked down the dark hall and slowly walked forward. The dripping from the holes that most likely have doubled in size since the last time I came, did nothing for my anxiety. I always wanted to renovate it but Klaus insisted using to much magic would let others know of it's existence. So now it was damp all over and had a moldy smell to it. "You're late." A deep accent said from behind me. I spun around and the anxiety I was feeling simmered down a bit. He was actually here and he looked fine. His hair was in a pony

(A few days before Luther gave Mazaya the dark bane. Magical realm) If he had a vision, this was serious. He only had visions when the universe was in danger. Maybe Alexan did alter reality but it would be fine still. I came up with a plan instantly. "I'll be more careful okay. As of today Ill change my plan. I will start to learn to control my dark magic so when the time comes I won't be tricked. And I can put restrictions on all magic nomatter if it's light or dark once I become one with all my magic." I declared as I gave him a reassuring smile. I could fix it no matter what. "You don't have time Mazaya. You need to find a solution soon. Alexan is making plans because he knows our plans. They have a God of fate also." Klaus said as he grabbed my face and forced me to look at him. "We will be fine." I whispered as I tried to kiss him but he forced my face away. He was holding me in a bear hug and was using his wards to stop me from getting away. "Mazaya it wasn't my fault." He gritted out as he lifted me up and started to walk us back toward the hideout. He was the most powerful protection God. Gods couldn't use their magic on him unless he allowed it. He betrayed me. "Let me go now. I will never listen to you. You gave your soul away to someone else when you promised it to me. You promised me your loyalty." I gritted out. Like me whoever he had sex with would become apart of him. They would be protected forever by his magic. He was connected to someone else. "Please you have to listen to me." He pleaded again. Every God I've been with betrayed me. I was done. "I have to go. I went to tell him my mind but a deep and commanding voice had me turning around. "Don't worry he can't see or hear us." Klaus whispered as I just looked at the obvious meeting we were crashing. Well technically we were just spying on it but still. "Where is she at?" The deep and sexy voice yelled. I looked around the room and seen all the Goddesses and Gods who were acting like they were to scared to talk. Did he look scary. Was he a older God with a good sounding voice. I usually didn't think of stuff like this but for some reason I just had to know. All of the Gods in this room looked decent but that was normal since most Gods looked good but I never really paid attention to looks. So why was I worried now? Somewhere hidden "Mazaya is dead." Christopher yelled at Klaus as soon as he teleported into their base. Klaus slowly looked up at him with anger. "I know." He spit out as he turned back to the God of broken realities and memories. "You have to do it now before his power is to much for even you." Klaus ordered the God. The God of broken realities and memories gave a slight nod of his head before he was pushing his power out with the help of Klaus. "What are you doing? I said Mazaya is dead and you are ignoring me." Christopher stated angrily. Nobody seemed to care that Mazaya was dead and it made no sense. "Relax, I am making sure Alexander's memories are distorted so that he wont realize what he's missing until it's too late." Klaus said to Christopher. "So you are erasing his memories?" Christopher asked slowly. "Clouding them, he's too powerful so we can only cloud and alter them. All he will know is that Mazayas soul is missing. Nothing will add up to what r

Multiple murmurs and hushed whispers went around the hall as all the counsil members took her in. "This is a trick." Someone in the back yelled out causing a rippled effect. Within a instance I had them by the throat. "Alexan how nice of you to join us." I wryly chuckled as I slowly squeezed his neck until the air stopped flowing. I tried to move away so it did not somehow make him aware but his hold was tight. I jumped a little from Alexander leaning into me and whispering. "What's wrong my love." "Nothing." I choked out not meaning too. "I was not talking to you but since you answered can you tell me what's wrong with your soul." He whispered softly. I stiffened a little and willed myself to be strong. The black dagger was right in front of me in its glass case. All I had to do was put my hand through the magical barrier and all would be back to normal. I slowly looked over into Alexander's eyes and all my fear dissipated. Not one ounce of love was in them. The gray was darker and it looked like he was daring me to betray him. "What are we exactly looking for?" Alexander asked me as we walked down a set of stairs. "I don't know." I lied as I willed my chest to relax. My soul was quiet and it made me wonder did it know what was about to happen. "She's lying." Tod exclaimed loudly. I ignored him and the few mumbled from some of the other Gods following me. "I believe you." He lied. We both knew that he didn't. No matter what he said he would never trust me again and he had good reason. "This way." Zavier said once we descended the stairs completely. I went stiff causing Alexander to look at me. "Is everything okay?" He asked. I gave a small fake smile and shook my hand. He lifted my face up and leaned down and gave me a soft kiss. My lips moved on there own and before I knew it I was against a wall. Alarms were going off in my mind reminding me of my goal but I was helpless. "Are you ready yet?" Zavier asked as he knocked on the door softly. I stayed silent as I looked at myself in the mirror. Slowly I wiped my face to rid myself of the tears that wouldn't stop. "We don't have much time before Alex comes looking." He continued when I said nothing. I sniffled alittle and took a deep breath. My eyes were a little red and my cheeks were a light pink. Anyone could tell that I was crying but it wouldn't matter because I could feel the hate coming from Alexander every time he looked at me. "Mazaya." Zavier snapped when I still said nothing. "I'm coming." I finally was able to say without my voice sounding scratchy. I blinked a few times as I readied myself. "I'm sorry for what I have to do." I whispered softly to my soul. I turned towards the door and took one more deep breath before I was opening it. Zavier was looking at me with narrowed eyes as he took in my appearance. "Sorry." The small smile I had dropped. Her words were a reminder that my father had died. Blake was quick to make himself noticed as he cleared his throat. Mazaya looked over at her smile grew wide. "Blake."
