Ian smirked. "You're a funny one, Ms. Fisher. He may be special, but don't speak of him like he's my equal."

He was clearly unaware that Frank had saved Alda. It was a big world, and Frank's field was not modern medicine, so it was not surprising that Ian remained oblivious.

"Then why don't you test your skills against his?" Sue asked, amused.

She really held contempt against Ian's haughty attitude, whether toward herself or Frank.

"Let's see if this survives this first." Ian shrugged, not worried about Sue's challenge—he had no hopes for this experiment like the rest of the bigwigs.

Regeneration sounded like the fantasy it was from the get-go, and he would certainly like to see what Igor could do against that!

That was when the red light outside the lab lit up, signaling the start of the experiment.

Everyone turned to look, fully focused as Frank was inserted into a see-through glass box. He was covered in needles, which were injecting him with fluids of weird colors.
