As an archaeologist, Sylvie could tell right away that the vase beside Frank's feet was a genuine artifact.

"Really? That's an artifact?"

Alda was not that interested in antiques and certainly found it a lot less interesting, with its dull luster and rustlike texture. It showed age but really fell short in preservation.

"You don't get it, huh? Artifacts never make a good first impression, but you'll eventually understand the endless charm it has in store."

Sylvie laughed, knowing that she could not explain what made that artifact incredible, and gave up on explaining. "Everyone has their own preferences, so it's understandable."

"You like it?" Frank asked just then. "You can have it."

"Really?!"

"Of course. This company is mine anyway—what's a vase in that respect?"

Sylvie was at once surprised and delighted by his generosity, and she could barely stop herself from smiling. "Perfect. The museum has never had an ancient vase this big—I'll send it to them."

Alda was confused.
