Freya

Deep inside me. I wished all this was just a dream. I never left Alex's side. I kept on taking my hands to feel his pulse. I was paranoid, it felt to me as if Alex would stop breathing if I looked away.

Xandra continued to play, I was expecting she would also come down with the fever just like it happened last time in Wolfshade town. But she was holding up strong.

I hoped that Orion would be lucky enough to meet my father and ask the necessary questions.

Orion's question came to me as a surprise too. The only thing I knew about my ability was what I heard from Damian and that was about how our kind were rare and how I should keep my ability a secret. That sneaky bastard! Not knowing that he was planning to get rid of me when the perfect time came.
