I could feel the city spinning around me as I walked down the street. The sounds of traffic, the chatter of people, and the distant sirens all blended into a dull hum, like background noise to my internal battle. I told myself it was just stress, just the weight of everything—my escape from the pack, the rejection ceremony, and now trying to build a new life in the city. It had to be stress. Right?

But deep down, I knew something wasn’t right.
