Eric was scared stiff.

How did Gideon do it? How did he take down over a dozen men in the blink of an eye?

While Eric stood there in a daze, Gideon slapped him so hard that he flew backward and lost a few teeth in the process. Both sides of his face were now swollen.

"You didn't learn your lesson back at the Snow residence, huh? The nerve of you to try and come after me. Do you think I'm a good-tempered man?" Gideon questioned, his expression frosty.

Clenching his jaw, Eric roared, "Just you wait, Gideon! I'll cripple you today if it's the last thing I do!"

As soon as he finished speaking, he attempted to run off.

Amused, Gideon picked Eric up like a little rat and threw him against the floor. Instantly, his nose broke, making him howl in agony.
