Aria stares around her in amazement. She cannot imagine that she was able to achieve what Caspian told her to do. It’s not that she does not believe she can do it. She is used to doing odd things all her life, but being able to transport herself to where she needs to be, on the first try, is something she cannot wrap her mind around with.
The valley seems deserted or the fairy farmers might have already retired to the house settlements for the night. Aria has never been to the valley at night. She marvels at how beautiful the night sky is, with the moon shining so
Princess Aria halts and exclaims, “Wait!” She finally finds her voice to speak out her hesitation. The rest of the fairies behind her abruptly stop walking too.Aramir and Jeera, who are both situated in front of the Princess, turn around and stare at her confused, but did not say anything. Every fairy is silently anticipating for their Princess to say something further.“Princess Aria, the Queen and King need to know as soon as possible that you are here.” Arami
It is a bright afternoon. Everything around seems peaceful. Aldar and Melandra sit outside on wooden benches beside a Willow tree. This particular tree is massive and a bit older than the rest of the other Willow trees surrounding it
The great hall of the Green Haven is presently filled with fairies from three realms. The presence of these fairies is essential to each of their realms. The cooperation amongst all the fairies is the key to defeat the Dark fairy. The fairies in gray are the rangers representing the Air fairies of the White Haven, with their silvery eyes. The rangers in black are the Water fairies from the Blue Haven. They stand side by side at the far right of the hall, staring alertly with their purple irises. The rest of the fairies present are in green, except for the rangers in brown, like Aramir.
Aramir found Caspian sitting with his legs crossed under the elm tree. He is staring blankly at the bridge leading back to the Valley."He's been like that since he came out from the hall. What's wrong with him? I didn't ask him. I knew that he likes to be alone."
Princess Aria slows down as soon as she is certain that she is definitely as far away as possible from Caspian. As if the distance from him will lessen the pain she feels in her heart right now. Her eyes are getting blurry with all the tears that falls incessantly, while her locket glows brightly too. It obviously reveals how much intense her pain is right now.
The envoys from the three fairy realms have travelled safely and stealthily. This is a good indicator that their mission remains a secret.Though the rangers are not easily wearied, they are obliged to pass the abode of the Water fairies. It is customary to pay homage to the King and Queen of the realm. Besides, they also need to gather some extra weaponry, for additional precaution in their uncertain mission.
Princess Ava seems restless beside her Queen Mother. It seems time is of the essence for her. Suddenly she turns to her King Father, as soon as the throne room is almost empty excluding a few Water fairies left behind to assist them for what they might require.
The Princess stares at the slope ahead. The rocky slope is just a bit inclined but not too sharply. Princess Ava pauses a while to test if anyone is bound to approach or attack their group. The others wait for Princess Ava’s next instruction. She motions for them to split into two groups towards the opposite sides of the slope. Half of the rangers under Cleon’s command move carefully towards the right, to the direction where C
I would like to express my sincerest gratitude to all of you who took their time to give my story a chance. It is my very first written work and it means so much to me that I was given the opportunity to share my imagined world of fairies in a version that combines contemporary and fantasy. Thank you for joining Arianna and the rest of my characters in their journey to the world of fantasy and reality. I hope my characters would stay in your memories forever as a source of inspiration as well as an escape from the bustles of daily living.I am also grateful to my editor Inker.
Arianna smiles to herself when she sees the wooden swing still attached to the Willow tree. It has been almost 10 years since she had it done with the help of Bran and Caspian as a surprise for her best friend Jo who is returning home from Alaska. Now, the wood color is already faded but still sturdy as ever. The roses remain in bloom with the magical enchantment they have casted so it’s a combination of blue and green.Caspian is by her side carryi
The snow falls beautifully on the trail. Princess Aria marvels about it as soon as they magically appear at the trail that she has often tread when she is still living in the human world. She previously planned to return here without using any magic so she can see and feel once more what she misses in this world.
The wedding of Aldar and Melandra is one that would be remembered in the history of the Four Reams. Both rangers serve as an inspiration to all the fairies because their love gives everyone a positive feel of a happy life despite being destined to be the protector of the realm. This is yet another sign that a long lasting peace is achievable when the fairies are at ease to live their days without fear.
Princess Aria sits beside her best friend Jo who is presently amazed by the busy scene. This fairy wedding is really fascinating for them. Seeing a lot of fairies dressed formally in real life is like a dream come true. This is one of the fairy tale scenes from the books that these two girls read over and over again when they were young. They adored the lovely dresses of Cinderella, Aurora and all the other princesses in fairy tales.“Look at that Anna…I mean Princess Aria. I like that blue one your aunt is wearing. It is classy and not too feminine.”
The reality of Alirion’s end takes a while to sink in amongst the fairies of the four realms. After so many years of fear and uncertainty, the fairies tend to expect that Alirion would come back from his final death with stronger dark magic than ever. However, in the passing of days, the fairies of the realms begin to breathe easier. Finally, peace is achieved. The first act of the Kings and Queens of the four fairy realms is to pardon the creatures
Caspian's temple hurts terribly when he regains consciousness. He finds it difficult to open his left eye, as if something is blocking his vision. However, his right eye seems fine and when he finally opens it, the first image he sees is Princess Aria's worry-stricken face.“Princess?”Caspian is bewildered but relieved at the same time to finally be with his Princess once more. He senses the soft lap of the Princess beneath his pulsing head.
The orcs are ready with their maces. They show no fear though they are aware of being outnumbered. Is it bravery or just plain arrogance?Cleo and Caspian strike with their swords at the orc in the middle. The other two orcs are busy attacking their other fairy companions. The fight is more of a test of strength and not of magic. The fairies battle with the orcs using their weapons. The orcs are very noisy as they fight with gr
Jo is finally conscious and appears to have no permanent damages from the physical assault by the orcs who kidnapped the princess combined with the magical burning done by the Dark fairy’s message spell. Nurse Zella healed her relatively quickly.“Thank you for healing my friend immediately.”Bran says in a serious tone.
