Leah's heart raced as she returned to the portrait drawer. Her steps quickened, her heels clicking ominously against the marble floor. Her eyes darted from painting to painting, a sense of urgency building within her. She had to find that portrait – the one of Bloom that Liam had painted with such love and care. It was a relic of a past that could ruin her future.

To her dismay, the canvas was gone. Panic surged through her like a tidal wave. Who had taken it? And, more importantly, why? Her fingers clenched into fists as she tried to steady herself.

Rushing to the custodian of the portraits, Leah demanded answers. The old man blinked in surprise at her intensity.

"A man came earlier," he stammered, "he said he was sent to collect it."
