The moon goddess always blessed her children with a soulmate. The one who would make them complete, so they could live happily with each other. 

However, It was not easy to find a soulmate. While one mate could be identified by his or her alluring scent, one thing for sure, when the soulmates met, the red thread of fate would come into view and connected them. 

The Moon goddess made werewolves as monogamous creatures. That was why each of her sons could only have no more than one soulmate. Also, to preserve the pure breeds, werewolves from different classes were impossible to be mated. Having otherwise was not only taboo but also forbidden.  

The same class mating arrangements considered to be natural and always proceeded like that since the beginning wolf-kind existed in Wolftopia until something unnatural happened today. &nb
