Theodore

Theodore was working on his laptop on the pool side when Natalie came out.

“What did you say to my brother?”

“What do you mean?”

“I heard you guys are meeting for drinks later.”

“We are friends, you know.” Natalie scoffed and sat there, watching the ripples in water.

Theodore was aware of Natalie’s pain and he could understand why she was not ready to listen to him with an open mind, but that was not the case with William. He might understand what Theodore was trying to do.

Earlier when William had told him he wanted to talk, he had been very frank, asking Theo why was he doing what he was doing?

“And you had to kidnap her? You couldn’t just date her?”

“I tried to, but she turned me away every time I tried to. I told you, and even you didn’t believe me.”
