Chapter 6 (Admission)

I woke up early the next morning to find a new message on my phone. it says "you have me admitted into KJ college, kindly proceed to the admission office with the documents listed below". I jumped up on my bed, flying up and down on it happily. I took care of myself, walked out of my room and went into the kitchen to show my mummy the latest news.

"morning mom" I greeted with the brightest smile ever.

"Morning daughc.... and what is making you happy this morning?" She greeted and asked a question at the same time.

"Mum, i have been admitted into KJ college, my dream school" I replied happily.

"Oh, I see. congratulations to my baby girl... so what are we using to celebrate it?" she asked happily.

I walked to the freezer and brought out a non-alcoholic wine, which I kept inside the freezer.

"Mom, let's celebrate with this," I said , raising it up.

"That's so thoughtful of you" she replied and I went ahead and rinsed two glass cups.

After she was done cooking. She dished out the food and put it on a tray. And then we walked out of the kitchen together to the dining room.

"Let's eat first," my Mummy said.

"Okay" I replied.

We ate the food and when we were done. we popped champagne.

"Wow!, congratulations, baby girl," she said immediately as I popped the wine.

I poured it into two cups, and gave my mummy one.

"cheers, baby" she said, raising her glass cup up for a cheer and I cheered.

We drank out of the cup and enjoyed the sweetness of the blackberry inside it.

"So daughter, what are you told to bring and when?" she asked sipping from her wine.

"Well, they told us to submit some relevant files to the administration unit by twelve and also pay some fees," I replied.

"I will give you my ATM, so you can pay any fee from it," she said.

"Okay, mum.. but I will say that college is very expensive. And I know that, when I was looking through their fees today" I said.

"Yeah, the school is for the rich and those that are doing well financially are opportune to go... even though they are endangering their life there" She replied.

"Okay mum. But I think the government should be doing something about this maltreatment of a thing," I said , sipping out of my wine.

"Well those vampires won't do anything about it, they see us as trash that any supernatural beings can maltreat. They don't respect our rights, they don't give us justice when any human is being killed by a supernatural being. They only said that human beings should be respected and their life should be valued but no punishment for the supernatural being, if they devalued us" She explained as she poured out more wine into her glass cup.

"That's wickedness" I said sipping from my wine

"I don't really think that is wickedness, even though it is, because the supernatural beings also kill and maltreat themself, if they are not from the same beings. For example, a werewolf can kill a vampire and nothing will be done and also a vampire can kill a werewolf and there won't be any punishment... they believe that when two different supernatural beings are at war, the strongest shall live '' She explained sipping from her wine.

"Why didn't you tell me this all these while?" I asked pouring more wine into my cup.

"It is because it is not about time for you to know and judging from the fact that you are going to a human high school you won't understand what I am talking about" she explained.

"Okay" I replied.

"But now that you are going to a school that is a combination of vampires, werewolves, witches, wizards and humans, then you have to know," she explained further.

"Okay mum" I replied.

"Mara, tread carefully in your new school" she warned.

"Okay mum" I replied.

"I am going to school," I said.

"So soon... I thought we could spend more mother and daughter time together before you go" she said.

"Maybe later in the night Mum" I replied standing up.

I walked into my room and changed my outfit into a male one. I walked out of the room carrying a cross bag with my face cap on.

I was about to walk past my mummy before she said "Seriously Mara, you are wearing male clothes again".

"Mum, I feel more comfortable in a male clothes than in female clothes," I replied.

"Is it because of your great shape?" she asked.

"No mum" I replied.

"Don't lie to me. I know that is the reason. back then in my highschool and college days. I always love rocking slim fitted female clothes as everybody is left flabbergasted by my great shape. And in every school I ever went to, I am always the one that gets the award for the most beautiful girl in the school and I am also always the school queen. But here you are, covering your beauty... you are not like me" she said.

"Yeah, I am not like you in that aspect but I do have one thing. This ``I said pointing to my brain.

"Yeah, you are just like your stupid father" She said as tears threatened to fall from her eyes. no not this again.

I moved closer to her and hugged her. She has never told me about my father or what he looks like. She only told me that she always comes fourth or fifth in her class and my father always dragged the first position with another guy.

I boarded a bus to the school and started walking around the school, taking surveys. And then three ladies dressed in the same outfit approached me, I thought I have saw them before. What I like about this school is that you are free to wear any clothes you like.

"Hi bitch" she said to me.

"Are you referring to your Mum?" I asked back.

"You are so stupid and don't mention Mum here" she said back angrily.

"I am just asking a question," I replied.

"fuck you and your question" she cursed and I chuckled.

"I just pity your miserable life. If not, I won't approach a useless you. don't you dare walk up to Damon again. if you really cherish your life" She said.

"I don't need your stupid advice and about Damon I have not finish with him yet" I said and they gasped.

"And what did you mean by the words, i have not finished with him yet?" 

"It is none of your business. so fuck off?" I said angrily and attempted walking out on them. And then suddenly I tripped on my feet and fell flat on my face.

"Hahahahahaha, she is just a weak human" She said and I was angry. I stood up on my feet and gave them deadly glares. I am aware that they use magic on me.

"No need to waste your deadly glare. We are still treating you like a new student, but once you resume fully. we will teach you how to show some respect, ``she said.

"Respect my feet. Learn to respect yourself before you think you deserve respect" I said angrily.

"Don't worry, when you enter fully, all the pride you are showing will be wash down the river because I treat your fuck up and mind you, we are in the same level and department, so you will get to see my face more often" She said and walked away with her friends. How does she know I am in the same department with her, I thought.

"I don't know why she always dressed like boy" she asked one of her friends or maybe slaves.

"It is obvious that she is not fine and she sucks under that clothes" she replied and they laughed at their stupidity.

The people passing me looked at me disgustingly, but I ignored them. It seems as if they have begun lectures for my set already. and about what I said that time. . i really don't mean it. I have just caused trouble for myself with my mouth. i could remember seen one of that girl's slaves recording me secretly. Oh god, I am in trouble. I haven't entered school yet and I have already started trouble that can't end anytime soon.

I quickly walked to a place to sit down and what I saw next on my phone on the school page weakened all my bones.
