Now, at the bakery shop for the palace, there were many flavors of cake right in front of me that had been brought for me to make a choice but I still didn't know which to pick out of the numerous choices. It was Laisha who tagged along with me and Lily that did the tasting and at one point, she also got tired of tasting so many flavors that she just advised me to pick simple flavors of my choice that wouldn't put the guest's stomachs in a twist at the wedding.I almost laughed at that but I held myself back… except Lily didn't. It was already past noon and I knew that this was the time that Raymond always took off for the day to have a break before he would resume working again. Selena’s POVI entered Raymond’s room first and I closed the door behind me before I rushed toward his study to see if I would find anything meaningful on his computer or hidden inside any book in the study but it was hard finding anything with shaky hands because I was scared he would come in to catch me snooping through his things and that was going to be bad for me.Still in the middle of searching while I looked over my shoulder occasionally to see if he was coming, I stumbled upon a book whose pages were all cut to make a hole in the middle of the book when I opened it and inside the book were tiny papers that looked like they held passwords.“I can’t believe he’s so dumb to even memorize his passwords” I said to myself while scoffing as I went through the papers and written on each piece of paper, were the accounts the passwords were for. Selena’s POVWhen I woke up, I was sure that a lot of time had passed and the room was completely dark so I couldn’t even make out or recognize where I was. There was a little stream of light coming through the little window that was up high in the wall though and I could tell from the moon light that it was already night and I wondered if Alpha had gone through with the plan. I wondered if Lily would be able to tell him about my predicament and I couldn’t help but also wonder what he was going to do about it.I hoped that he wasn’t going to lose his cool and do something rash because it could get him caught by Raymond and that was going to be the end of our plan so I only hoped that he was still going to go ahead with the plan without letting his feelings get the best of him while I faced Raymond and whatever he was going to do to me.Then I tried to move from the chair where I sat but I then realized I was tied up and I couldn’t move an inch unless the ropes were loosened.
