SALLY'S POV A loud knock on the door woke me up. It wasn't an ordinary knock it could easily deafen one's ear. I jerked up from my bed and wiped my face as I looked around the room, I wondered who would be knocking on my door like that by that time of the morning. I noticed my environment was strange, I began to wonder why as I looked around the place fearfully. It was then that I remembered that I was in Sam's house to learn martial arts. I laughed at myself for a minute, and then the knock came again, even louder this time, making my heart skip. "Who the fuck could that be?" I questioned myself. I knew Sam to be a calm person, I could easily tell that even though I have only met him once, and I knew he would never hit my door that way. 'What if it is Derek?' I thought. "Don't be silly Sally, Derek would never find his way here", I assured myself. The knock was suspicious, so I opened the wardrobe, picked up my show, and began walking toward the door. Even if it were to be
SALLY'S POV The training for the day came to an end because of the scene the girl had caused. She was taken to the in_house clinic while the rest of the girls retired to their rooms, in another house, but were in the same compound. I seem to be the only trainee who lived in the master's flat with him. The girl came to sit beside me after the others left, I was the only one who was still seated at my spot and didn't move an inch. "Hello weirdo", she greeted me and brushed her shoulders against mine. "You know I should be calling you that", I replied with a smile and she chuckled. "What is your name?" She asked me. She seemed pretty tender, and yet she was so comfortable with me when she wasn't that way with the other girls. "I am Sally, an orphan, and you?" "I am Sammy, an orphan. Nice meeting you here", she said and shook my hand. "Same here", I replied and smiled. "I hope you wouldn't lose control as I do and use your alpha powers during training", she winked at me. Stood
SALLY'S POV Sammy did a trick, she froze everyone in the scene and quickly rushed to me. She helped me put off the tree branch I was stocked in. The wound was really deep and took time to heal. After I was fully healed, she helped me up and made me lie beside the tree. She returned to where she was standing and released the rest of the trainees. I was already exhausted and hungry, I wanted the training to come to an end already, so I began pretending as if I wasn't okay. I held my head whimpering in pain as other students rushed to my aid. Sammy stood at the spot giving me an I will kill you glare. She already knew what I was up to, she didn't need anyone to tell her. She walked up to me where I lay and placed her hand over my head. The rest of the students hissed on sighting her and left both of us together. "We will continue tomorrow", our master announced. Only a few people were angry about the decision, especially those from the junior training team, and they all blamed
ALPHA DEREK'S POV A week had passed, and I knew the council of elders was going to come today. I stayed in my room drinking all day. Although everyone have conspired not to give alcohol to me, I still found a way to convince Mike to get me two last bottles, promising him I would never rake alcohol ever in my life again. I heard noise from outside the house and checked the wall clock. It was already a few minutes after four pm. I stood up and walked over to the window, I opened the curtain and peeped through, then I burst into a roar of laughter. They must be stupid, very very stupid to think I will be scared of them, very very stupid to think I will, to think I will chicken out and give them my position. I should go outside and show them what re-madness looks like. They have come for the coronation of the new alpha of alphas, and his swearing into my throne. I could see Alpha Lucas seated on a white horse, and adorned with beads. The elders of the council and all other alpha's s
AUTHOR'S POV The whole of the dark pack, and even the whole of the night walking creatures community have been in jeopardy since alpha Derek had become more ruthless than he was, and this time even his pack members who enjoyed his protection in the past, and only got to taste his wrath when they did something very awful, were now having their taste of the medicine. Alpha Derek would kill whoever does something very small and would hit anyone who crosses his part. "Get me his head", he ordered his guard. His guard didn't hesitate and cut off the man's head immediately, he knew he would replace him if he didn't. He handed the head over to alpha Derek, who took it from him and flung it into the bush. The only offense the man had committed was bumping into the drunk alpha Derek. Everyone decided to remain indoors, and only go out whenever it was necessary. A whole lot of people stopped going about their regular business, anyone who wanted to go out would ensure alpha Derek wasn't
SALLY'S POV I didn't stop thinking about alpha Derek, I would usually sneak out of the house, so I would be able to hear a few things about what was going on in the pack house. That afternoon I heard from the gossip about alpha Derek's threat to wipe out the entire community if they don't provide me within a week. I needed to do something as quickly as possible, more people shouldn't die because of me, I should stop that from happening no matter what it would cost. I also heard from a reliable source about the plans to take the throne to the Moonlight pack house, I heard about the presence of alpha Derek's parents in the pack house and anger filled my whole system. They were the ones who had ruined my life, they had destroyed my pack and should pay for it now that they are in sight. I became distracted and began sneaking out of the house constantly to get information, and also strategize on how to strike before they would leave the country again. At least now that they are here,
ALPHA DEREK'S POV The council of elders, or the night-walking creatures and supernatural beings, were to have their meeting today with the alphas and my parents. I knew the meeting would start by four pm so I decided to eat something before then so I would leave the house. I had other plans, apart from just ruining the meeting, I had a master plan, which I was sure would work for me if I put it into practice. Ruining their meeting was just one thing that wouldn't pay me. It would be better if I allowed them to have their meeting in fear. I was certain that throughout their stay in the meeting room, they would startle and get tensed at the slightest footstep or shadow, close to the meeting room. I walked into the kitchen, and began searching the place with my eyes. I thought that once I entered the kitchen since it was supposed to be for food, I would see plates of food lying around the place, but I was wrong. The things I saw there were not even making any sense to me. I decided
SALLY'S POV At exactly two pm I fainted at the training ground, it was only a fake faint. The train had to be paused exile I got rushed to my room. I had already established the fact that I didn't like it at hospitals, or the like so they wouldn't take me there. Two men were made to carry me, while Sammy walked behind them, and a lady was sent to get the doctor to my room so she could check up on me. I lay flat in bed until the doctor arrived, the men left leaving the doctor and Sammy with me. I waited for the right time, the doctor came closer to check my pulse, she placed her hand on my neck, and when she couldn't feel anything, she placed the hand on my wrist, and when she still couldn't feel anything. She raised herself and awalkedcloser to Sammy. "Go get my bag, will you?" The doctor asked Sarah. "Of course, why not", she replied and left. The doctor walked back to me, she touched my face, then my neck. I took my hand that had been hiding behind me and dug the syringe
