doubts about miss Peyton

"What? You had a baby and you kept it away from me" Amber screamed at Maya.

"I can explain to you, sweetie"

"I don't need any of your explanation" she said, grabbed the lunch box and other things and sprinted to her room.

Maya took the bag and left the school. She drove to Yana's house. She knocked softly on the door and Yana opened the door herself this time, Maya dropped in her arms.

"Woah! What's wrong, Maya?" Yana asked as she guided her in.

She got her a glass of wine, Maya dropped it back in the tray.

"Aren't you going to take that?"

"I didn't come here because of that. Everything has gone wrong now"

"What do you mean by that?"

"I was in the office yesterday when my secretary brought a box for me and when I opened it, I found this." She showed her the picture and note.

Yana's eyes glistened, "This is actually good news. This is from the same person who tried to kill you in your dream so you have two ............"

"You don't get it! Amber found out about the picture and note and she thought I hid my life from her. I was going to come here after I visit her but she found out about it."

"But you were only trying to protect her"

"How am I going to explain that to her? She doesn't even want to talk to me."

"We'll sort her out. What is important to me now is your life. Luke j was saying earlier, you have two options now, either to go physical and find out who sent you that gift or go spiritual and finish that dream. Then we'll know what next to do"

"Okay! I'll try"

"There is a clause" Yana said and Maya somehow glared at her

"You have to find out who the person is before the first day of the half year because that is when the dream would be fulfilled."

Maya opened her bag, brought out her phone and looked at the calendar, "I have 40 days to find the person"

"If your calendar says so" Yana shrugged her shoulders.

Maya grabbed her bag and staggered out of Yana's house.

Amber laid on her bed, sobbing quietly when the bell rang which was unusual because it was late in the night. She sluggishly sat up and peeped through her door to see what was happening, she only saw students rushing towards the hall. She closed the door and leaned against it, she let out a deep hot breath and joined the students to the hall.

Miss Peyton was already there and she was patience enough to let them settled down before talking.

"Good evening to you all. I'm sorry for calling this urgent meeting but it have cone to my hearing that some students don't know about the Wolves Day feast. This is a feast to official welcome you into the pack and it's going to be a special night because you're going to find your mate that day. The Wolves Day feast is forty one days from now, which means you have forty days to prepare for this feast." She took a break.

"And I'll advise you all to be in your best behaviors because the eviction starts tomorrow" she added.

A student raised her hand from the crowd, "What are we expected to do to avoid eviction, Miss Peyton?"

"Be in your best behavior!" She said emphasising in best as she made eye contact with Amber but she looked away.

Even though Amber knew she could not access her wolf side, she was anxious and happy about the news. She went to bed with Miss Peyton's voice echoing in her head. She rushed back to her room, the clanking sound of the door adding more joy to her happiness. She grabbed a pen and a paper from her bag and wrote a calendar of forty days.

"I honestly can't wait to see the end of this forty days" she mumbled to herself.

"I pray you last" a thought popped up in her head but she shook it off and hanged the calendar over her bed.

Amber found herself in a dark room, sobbing and asking for help but no one answered her till her Alpha came.

"You called for me, my Luna?" The deep masculine voice came from a figure standing in front of her, stretching out his hand.

Though she could not see his face, she was happy someone came to her rescue and grabbed his hand and he pulled her up.

"Who are you?" Amber asked, trying so hard to see his face.

"I am your Alpha" he moved some steps backwards with his hands spread out as his voice reverberated the room.

"I am your Alpha" The voice echoed again.

"Can I ask for a favour then?" Amber asked.

"Sure, anything for you, my Luna" he said spreading his arms again.

"Can I please see your face?" Her voice was soft, thin and soothing nobody could refuse.

"That's the least, let's walk to that light"

The guy held Amber close to himself as they walked towards the light. Amber's heart was racing faster with each step they took, she was happy the guy accepted but was surprised when they got to the light.

"What is this? I thought you agreed to show me your face so what's the meaning of this? Are you joking with me or something? Is my life a joke to all of you? And now, even in my dream, I can't be happy?" She yelled at the guy but he moved closer to calm her down.

"Don't you dare touch me! You knew you were wearing a mask before agreeing to walk me here" she said, taking some steps away from the guy as he moved to approach her.

"Can't you see?"

"See what exactly? The mask? Of course I can see it, what else?" She scoffed.

"I mean can't you see that we are now in another level? We are now in the light but this mask on my face is something only you can take off."

"What do you mean by that?" Her harsh voice has now returned to its normal level.

"You have to find me, my Luna. We have to be together" his voice echoed loudly in her head that she had to cover her ears with her palms.

Amber woke up, sweating and panting hard. She subconsciously scanned the room with her eyes to be sure that she's out of the dream.

Her eyes fell on the box her real mom gave her as she was about to lay down back, she stood up and went to the box. She opened the box and switched on the phone. It was the first time she had a phone, Maya had been trying hard to feed them so she couldn't avoid to buy her a phone. After booting, she saw that it was another day so she picked her pen from the table and circled day one on the calendar she made.

"This is sure going to be fun, with or without my wolf side" she said and went back to bed.

Amber woke up to a knock on her door. She hasn't heard the bell rang so she wondered who it could be that early. She wriggled out of bed, yawned as she stretched her body and walked to the door, adjusting her glasses. She opened the door and seeing it was Miss Peyton, she felt sick in her bone and slightly hit her head on the door.

"I don't want to be part of any of your games. If you have any issue with my mom, go settle that with her and leave me out of this" She yelled at her and tried to close the door but Miss Peyton stopped her.

"Did she tell you anything about your father? Who he was? What he was like? Do you even think Maya is your biological mother?"

"Maya? I can't remember telling you my mom's name. Who are you, Miss Peyton? Can you be trusted?"
