Chapter 408 Bottleneck

Rebecca stayed at Cloudy Hills Estate for a while before she said that she had to leave. Eva quickly stood up and saw her out of the doors of the estate.

“You don’t need to walk me all the way out.”

Rebecca held her hand gently and said in a soft voice, “I was stupid before, and I’m glad you’re gracious enough not to hold a grudge. I’m going home now, Eva. I’ll see you next time when I’m free.”

“Alright.”

Eva smiled and said, “There’s no need to think about it any longer. Everything is in the past.”

Rebecca nodded. She got into her car and instructed the driver to go. Eva stood at the door and watched her leave. The car gradually disappeared from her sight.

When Eva was finally out of sight, the expression on Rebecca’s face darkened.

The driver continued driving, and Rebecca said coolly, “Park the car at the side after we get down the hill.”

“Yes, Madam Rebecca.”
