Earlier in the afternoon, Mason had ended a call inside the wooden house in the center of the lake. He lit up a cigar for himself.

The cigar smoke filled the wooden house, and the smell stayed for a long time. Eva kept coughing from the stench.

She did not enjoy the smell of smoke.

Nathan never smoked in front of her, and she seldom connected with others. At most, she would meet someone who smoked when she delivered flowers. However, she would still consciously keep a distance from smokers.

It might be because she was pregnant because Eva felt that the smoke was particularly disgusting.
