Eva shut her eyes gently and breathed in.

She felt much more at ease after deciding not to see Mason anymore.

“Alright. You should stop thinking about it.”

Nathan patted her shoulder gently. “He might not be around anymore, but you still have me.”

Those simple words warmed Eva’s heart. She glanced at Nathan with a smile.

They stood in the corridor in the night and listened to the rain together as they stared at the entire River City.

This was a great place to have a holiday.

The pace was slower here, and there were many great dishes to savor. Staying here was a true change of environment.

Eva could not help saying, “Looks like the others were right when they said we should have more holidays. I do feel the benefits. Going on holidays broadens the mind and relaxes the soul.”

She enjoyed this feeling.

Nathan smiled at his woman’s sudden burst of feelings. “Are there any other pretty places you’d like to see?”

“I do want to see the
