Chapter 311 Don’t Drink It

The next morning at Lane Residence, a scrumptious breakfast was laid out on the table. It looked delicious as there was a variety to choose from. There were even danishes and various buttery pastries that tempted one to dig in immediately.

Queenie rested her chin on her hand as she waited at the table.

She was famished, and her stomach was growling. However, she could only glance at the food on the table before looking away.

Pamela tried to talk her into having breakfast.

“My dear daughter, just have something to fill up your stomach if you’re hungry. A pregnant woman can’t function on an empty stomach. You might be able to endure this but not the baby inside of you.”

“Stop nagging me, Mom. I’m waiting for Mason to have breakfast together.”

Queenie looked at Pamela with annoyance. Her voice was shrill. “Mason said he's going to have breakfast with me this morning. He'll probably be here soon. How can I start breakfast without him?”
