Chapter 217 Taking Down The Lovettes

It was 5:30 pm when Eva parked her car outside Elite International Bilingual Kindergarten.

A few minutes later, all of the kindergarten children rushed out in excitement with Miss Cheney and Miss Linderman watching over them.

Eva immediately spotted Max and Mia, who were next to Miss Cheney.

“Mia, Max!”

She smiled and waved at both of them. The children immediately rushed to her side when they heard her voice.

“Mommy!”

They called out to her in unison and jumped into her arms.

Eva breathed in gently, taking in the sweet scent of milk on them. She kissed them on their cheeks happily.

She brought them into the car, but the children looked left and right in search of Nathan.

“Where’s Daddy?”

Mia gently tugged on her braid. “Why didn’t Daddy come to pick us up?”

They had gotten used to Nathan chauffeuring them to and from school recently.

It felt strange not to see Nathan around.

Eva closed the door and explained, “Your daddy is busy with work tonight. He can’t pick you up.”
