Chapter 134 Share Price Crash

Eva brought the freshly brewed tea over to Mason.

Mason took the cup from her and had a sip.

The hot liquid flowed through his throat, warming him up.

He could not help sighing.

Forget about it. He would let this matter slide. It was good enough that he could stay by her side to protect her.

Deciding to change the topic, Mason asked gently, “This batch has a lot of flowers. Can you manage to get them all planted today?”

Eva nodded. “Yup. I’ll have to plant them all this afternoon. Most of them will wilt if I keep them until tomorrow.”

“I see. Maybe I should stay behind to help you out.”

Smiling, Mason extended a warm offer.

“It’s fine. I shouldn’t trouble you when you’re such a busy man. Besides, you’ve never planted anything before. You wouldn't know what to do. It’s enough that I have my workers here to help.”

Eva rejected Mason’s offer.

From her perspective, Mason was a gentle and tidy man. He was not suited to do such dirty work.
