It felt as though time had stopped for a second all I could hear was my heartbeat, and my ears ringing.
I then tried to focus my eyes after a few attempts I could see and started looking around. I tried to get up but failed I couldn't breathe, every attempt I made to breathe only resulted in me feeling pain.
I then heard a growl. I then laid my elbow down and lifted myelf just enough to look around completely.
"m... Da-" I try but I fail. I then cleared my throat and tried again.
"Dad!" I yell but I knew it was barely audible.
I then managed to get myself up. When I looked at my right arm I saw that it was broken so I held on to it and started limping.
"Dad!" I yell again no reply, please let him be okay.
I then went into the bushes and next thing I saw was a huge black... dog? Growling at my father.
When I looked over my father I felt my jaw drop he had wings. He literally had wings on his back and he also had tattoos written in symbols.
"Dad?" I ask again. This time he looks at me shock written on his face and fear?
The dog also looked at me for a second there we looked at each other before he growled in response I stumbled backwards.
"Princess get out of here." my father says his voice completely changed it was deeper and it had an echo if we weren't in trouble I would be impressed.
My dad then tried flying but the dog held on to his foot and yanked him down. In my heart I was scared that something would happen to my dad I need to help him I thought.
Only when I tried to get closer the dog growled at me resulting in me halting in my steps.
"Princess I said get out of here!" I hadn't realized that I was crying until I felt tears rolling down my neck.
I just shook my head over and over again
"N-no."
"I love you." he says I felt hopeless God please if you are there help him. Lord knows I wanted to help him but the pain was starting to set in everytime I moved I just felt pain.
Just when I was hopeless my father's hands started glowing along with his eyes. Then the symbols on his body started changing shapes. The next thing I knew he released some sort of blinding blue light.
This resulted in the dog releasing him. When the dog tried grabbing hold of my father he flew higher up. That's when the dog looked at me and started coming my way.
I tried to move backwards but a branch tripped me in the process. I started crawling backwards but it wasn't doing anything since I was wounded and in pain.
The dog then licked his mouth and started making it's way to me like I was prey.
He didn't get far because my father came and stood in front of me. That's when his hands lit up and threw fire balls at the dog. Only the dog dodged it easily it was really fast.
He threw the fire balls over and over again but kept missing. That's when suddenly everything went silent. When I looked around the dog wasn't there anymore.
I tried to stand but I couldn't find myself to do it considering the pain I was in. That's when dad landed right in front of me.
He started taking steps towards me, which resulted in me involuntarily crawling backwards.
"Hey, it's just me princess." He lifts his hands up as if to show he means no harm.
"What are you" I ask the question that is really bugging me.
"I will explain it to you later now princess you are injured that's what's important right now."
He then made his way towards me. He then kneeled in front of me, his hands started glowing again, extending his hands towards me.
"I won't hurt you." he says while giving me a reassuring smile I guess he sensed my discomfort.
Only before he could do anything he was yanked from where he was and was dragged to the ground. The dog was on top of him.
"Dad!" I scream I tried to get up but I couldn't. I felt so useless I couldn't help my father.
"Somebody help!" I start screaming for help only everytime I talked I felt an immense amount of pain, I could also taste blood in my mouth.
I heard my father pleading but the dog just continued I could see blood pooling on the ground. In desperation I started throwing stones anything I could grap ahold of from the ground but it was no use.
"Dad please no!" God why please help him help us.
I wanted to stop looking but I couldn't bring myself to look away from it I watched as he teared my father from limb to limb.
"Daddy." I let out a sob.
That's when we heard a howl the dog then suddenly stopped and howled back, he looked at me and I could see blood all over its mouth,he then let out a little growl and he ran into the woods.
I had no choice but to crawl towards my father, with every step I was taking the pain grew more, I could feel that my ribs were broken, so I took shallow breaths to lessen the pain.
After some grueling minutes of crawling I finally made it to him. It felt as though I was losing a part of me.
He was covered in blood God I could see his bones in plainsight along with some of his insides what did we do to deserve this.
"Daddy." I whisper extending my shaking hands towards his face I was afraid to even touch him.
"Dad please don't leave me." The tears just kept falling. Only he wasn't responding.
"I love you so so much." I whisper it to him telling him over and over again.
That's when I saw a flash of light when I looked up I saw my father? I looked down then up.
"Dad?"
"Princess I'm afraid it's time for me to go but I will always look after you."
"Please don't go I still need you."
"You don't need me my sweet child, I am proud of the woman you have become we will meet again sweetie but your job here is not done."
"I need you to take that locket on my neck and keep it safe don't let it fall into the wrong hands."
"Bu-"
"Do as I say."
I then took the locket and put it in my jacket.
"And remember I love you." was the last thing I heard before everything went black.
Beep beep, Beep beepGod what is that sound.Beep beep beep beepMake it stop please.I try to open my eyes but I couldn't bring myself to open them.Moving was not an option either, I couldn't move it was as though my body was paralyzed I couldn't feel anything."Yes...suggest... I heard voices, but I only heard bits and pieces of the conversation.Everything was dark everywhere, I did not know where I was, God what is happening, where am I?I try looking around but it was just darkness, I started panicking suddenly that beeping started becoming worse. It got louder and louder and each second I felt myself becoming weaker, that's when the voices I was hearing started becoming faint then finally I felt myself slipping off.*************Beep beep beep be
"Well everything looks fine, your vitals look normal so there's no reason why we should keep you here." the doctor says while checking me, it's been roughly a week since I've been in here and still no sign of father. "Just don't stress your arm and leg too much remember you are still recovering." she gives me a smile. "I will." "So is anyone coming to pick you up?" I just give her a sad smile. "No, I don't want to stress anyone." I was lying through my teeth I had no one left. "Okay let me bring your discharge paperwork so you can sign and you will be on your way." I just nod. "In the meantime why don't you go get changed I asked the nurse to bring a set of clean clothes for you." "Thank you." I then went to the bathroom and removed the hospital gow
"Moon goddess?" "What is-" "Soon you will understand what I am, right now unfortunately is not the time for that." "I don't have time to explain everything , all I can give you is a warning, there is a storm brewing ahead and if you are anything like your father I know the world is in good hands but bare in mind that in the end a sacrifice must be made to save the world." "What do you mean?" I didn't understand anything she was saying what storm? What sacrifice? "How do you know my father?" "Listen to me, you are very special you might not realize it yet but soon everything shall be revealed to you." "But... But." "Goodbye for now Andrea, we shall meet again soon." then she was gone just like that.
Mate? What the heck is that. "Who the fuck sent you here?" he asks with his eyes narrowed. I just look at him confused. " look I don't know you people, I just happened to stumble upon those dogs." that's when I heard a growl and it came from my new friend. "We are not dogs don't fucking compare us to those-those things." he says with a look of disgust on his face. "Well then mind telling me what you are so I can properly address you your highness?" "We are werewolves." the moment he said that I just burst out laughing. "Yeah and I'm Bigfoot." they just give me weird looks and when I saw that they weren't joking my laugh died. "You're joking right?" but who was I kidding at this point I might as well believe that unicorns are real, I'm starting to believe anything is possible. "Do I look like I'm joking kitten." that earned him a growl from Mr Alpha. "
"Jack?" he just hums. I've been pestering him for the last two days that I have been in here. "Are you one of them?" "You mean a wolf?" he looks at me smiling. "Yes." I finally got him to look at me I don't know why he didn't and every time I ask him he just changes the subject. "No." I just look at him confused. "If you aren't then what are you doing here?" "I'm paying off a debt." I wait for him to continue but he doesn't. "Of?" he just sighs. "Well my father betrayed Alpha Logan he is a wolf and no just because he is a wolf doesn't mean I'm also a wolf I don't know why." I then shut my mouth. "As I was saying my father and I never really saw eye to eye I think it's the fact that I can't shift." he paused and when I looked at him I saw a look of longing in his eyes. " So he used to be one of Alpha Logan's warriors but it turned out he was double crossing the Alpha, he was also one of
After he left, I just stood there I didn't know what to do. The thought of escaping has crossed my mind as I was walking towards the door, I came to a halt when it was opened and a woman who looked around my age came in.She then froze when she saw me and she looked at me up and down. She then gave me a smile but it didn't reach her eyes she looked as though she didn't even want to be here."Let's go." was all she said then she started walking away. I debated as to whether I should follow her or not. When she looked back at me I decided to follow her.I was walking behind her, we then exited the room and started going upstairs. The moment we reached the top there were men. Some of them were playing video games, others were drinking, others talking. Only when we got there they stopped what they were doing and looked at us.The girl who was walking with me went over to one of the man he was a few inches shorter than Alpha Log
"Jack?" I ask but he just ignores me and he has been ignoring me since I returned down here. "Jack please I need water." I say in a low voice they really haven't been feeding me anything and it's been two days now. But he just continues ignoring my existence. I then found myself sinking to the cold cement ground. I was thirsty and hungry but I don't think anyone cared. " I -" I wanted to say something to Jack but then I decided to just keep quiet if he has been ignoring me and my begging for the past two days he surely won't just stop because I asked him to. I heard my stomach grumbling and God it hurt so bad, my throat was yearning for water but there really was not anything I could do about it I was locked up. "Is this what my life has become?" I find myself muttering that question to myself, I had everything my life was perfect but in one twist of an event everything changed. I felt tears rolling down my eyes I really wa
I've been locked in here for God knows how long, I could hear screams upon screams every other day. The smell of blood hitting my nose. God who are these people? I ask myself what have i gotten myself into. Worst part no one will remember me. I don't have friends my dad is gone, just the thought of him made me so sad I felt tears streaming down my face.I heard a plate being slid into my cell "Hey" I heard a voice say but I couldn't move, every part of my body was hot, i felt sweat dripping down my face. What is happening to me? Am I dying? will I finally get to see my dad again?"open the cell!" someone yells but I'm too far gone. The last thing i remember is someone yelling "what the fuck happened to her?"*****************************************************************" Why the fuck isn't she waking up?"" Alpha she will wake up just give her time, she hasn't been eating properly and she also had a fever?""What kind of monster are you turning into Logan?" the doctor asks concer
Andrea stood in front of the bathroom mirror, her hands gripping the sink as she splashed cold water on her face. She needed to clear her head, to process everything that had happened. The broken necklace, Rose's revelation, the unsettling feeling that something within her was changing—it was all too much. She took a deep breath, trying to steady her racing heart.Suddenly, a scent wafted into the bathroom, cutting through her thoughts like a knife. It was a rich, intoxicating aroma, sweet and familiar—strawberries mingled with something deeper, muskier. Her heart skipped a beat, and her senses sharpened as the scent enveloped her.Mate. She sounds in her mind confused as to why she thought of saying that word. The word echoed in her mind, bringing with it a rush of emotions she couldn't comprehend. Her knees wobbled, and she gripped the sink tighter, her breath coming in shallow gasps. She knew that scent, had dreamed of it in restless nights, but it was stronger now, undeniable and
Andrea wandered through the bustling courtyard of the pack house, her thoughts preoccupied with the revelations of the past days. The sun was setting, casting long shadows across the cobblestones and painting the sky with hues of pink and orange. She absentmindedly fingered the necklace her father had given her, the one that seemed to hold so many unanswered questions. The necklace had always provided her with a sense of comfort and security, a connection to her past. As she rounded the corner, Andrea found herself face-to-face with Sandra and her entourage. Sandra, with her perfectly coiffed hair and cold, piercing eyes, regarded Andrea with thinly veiled disdain. The atmosphere grew tense, the air crackling with an undercurrent of hostility. Andrea had known Sandra's type well—privileged, entitled, and always ready to belittle others to make themselves feel superior. "Well, well, if it isn't the Luna," Sandra sneered, her voice dripping with sarcasm. "What are you doing here al
Andrea stood frozen in the doorway, her heart pounding painfully in her chest. Logan's study, once a place of potential resolution, now felt like a trap of disappointment and betrayal. Jess's presence on his lap was a stark reminder of everything Andrea had hoped wasn't true.Logan's eyes darted from Andrea to Jess and back, his expression unreadable but guarded. He didn't move to disentangle himself from Jess's embrace, nor did he offer any explanation or apology for what Andrea had walked in on. His silence only deepened the wound in Andrea's heart.Jess, on the other hand, smirked knowingly at Andrea, as if relishing the discomfort she caused. "Looks like you caught us at a bad time," she purred, her voice dripping with sarcasm.Andrea clenched her fists, fighting to keep her voice steady despite the turmoil raging within her. "I came here to talk to Logan," she said, her words tinged with bitterness. "But it seems he's busy."Logan's jaw tightened imperceptibly, a flicker of guilt
Andrea stood in the dimly lit study of the main house, facing Logan with a mixture of confusion and frustration. The air between them crackled with tension, each moment stretching taut as she awaited his answer."Why do you hate me so much, Logan?" Andrea's voice quivered slightly, betraying the emotions swirling within her. "What did I ever do to you?"Logan remained silent for a long moment, his jaw clenched as he stared at her with intensity. The weight of her question hung heavy in the air, and Andrea could almost feel the turmoil churning beneath his stoic exterior."You don't know anything about your father, Andrea," Logan finally spoke, his voice low and tinged with bitterness. "You have no idea what he's done."Andrea's brows furrowed in confusion. "What are you talking about? My father is-was a good man. He would never hurt anyone."Logan's eyes flashed with anger, his restraint slipping slightly. "Your father is the reason I lost my parents," he gritted out, each word laced
Andrea woke with a start, the echo of the mysterious figure and the haunting voice still lingering in her mind. The forest clearing and the river seemed like a distant dream now, but the urgency to unravel the mysteries of her past remained. She needed answers, and she needed them soon.Slipping out of bed, Andrea dressed quickly, her mind racing with fragments of memories and unanswered questions. The necklace, still faintly glowing, felt heavy against her chest as if it, too, held secrets waiting to be uncovered. She made her way downstairs quietly, avoiding the bustling kitchen where Rose was likely preparing breakfast. Instead, she sought solace in the library, a sanctuary of knowledge and quiet contemplation within the main house. The shelves were lined with ancient tomes and volumes on supernatural lore, each holding a promise of insight into the world beyond human understanding. Andrea pulled out a dusty book on werewolf mythology, flipping through its pages in search of any me
Andrea lay in bed, her mind unable to find peace. The weight of the day’s revelations bore down on her, and exhaustion eventually pulled her into a restless sleep. Her dreams carried her back to a time she had long tried to forget—a time when a woman once visited their home.---The living room of Andrea’s childhood home was filled with the warm, comforting glow of the fireplace. She was no more than seven years old, playing with her dolls on the soft carpet while the aroma of her father’s cooking wafted from the kitchen. It was a scene of domestic tranquility, yet a storm was brewing just beneath the surface.Andrea’s father, Jonathan, stood by the window, his face a mask of concern. A woman named Evelyn, entered the room, her movements tense and her expression strained. Andrea, sensing the change in the atmosphere, looked up from her playthings, her young mind alert to the undercurrents of distress in the air.The woman came to her and picked her up.“You look so much like your gran
Andrea tossed and turned in her bed, haunted by the events of the previous night. The pain from the heat had subsided, but the emotional scars left by Logan's cold detachment were still fresh. She stared at the ceiling, her mind a whirlwind of confusion and hurt. Sleep seemed impossible, but eventually, exhaustion claimed her.In the early hours of the morning, Andrea was jolted awake by a strange sensation. Her necklace, the one her father had given her, was glowing again. She sat up, eyes wide with surprise and curiosity. The blue light pulsated rhythmically, casting an eerie glow in the dark room. Her heart pounded as she reached up to touch it.A soft, ethereal voice filled the room. "Andrea, follow me."Andrea froze, her breath caught in her throat. She had heard the voice before, but it had never been this clear. It felt both familiar and otherworldly, like a long-forgotten dream. She stood up, her curiosity overpowering her fear."Who are you?" she whispered, but the voice only
Logan woke up with a heavy feeling in his chest, an unusual sense of guilt gnawing at him. The events of the previous night played over in his mind. He had given in to Alex's urgings and the undeniable pull of the bond, but now he regretted it. He had done what he thought necessary to ease her pain, but it didn't change how he felt about her. Or so he tried to convince himself. He walked back to their shared room, dreading what he might find. As he opened the door, the sight that greeted him made his heart sink. The sheets were stained with blood, stark against the otherwise pristine bedding. A wave of guilt washed over him. He stood there for a moment, wrestling with his emotions, before he forced himself to look away."Get a grip, Logan," he muttered under his breath. "This changes nothing."He turned on his heel and left the room, making his way downstairs to the dining hall. Breakfast with the pack was a daily ritual, and as Alpha, it was expected that he be the first to eat. The
Andrea woke up to the now familiar, yet unbearable, pain that had been plaguing her for days. Every muscle in her body ached, and the heat within her was becoming more intense, making it nearly impossible to think clearly. She lay in bed, curled up and clutching her pillow tightly. The room was filled with Logan's scent, which oddly brought her a semblance of calm amidst the chaos her body was experiencing.Every time she considered leaving the room to seek help, the pain intensified, almost as if reminding her that she needed to stay where Logan's scent was the strongest. She couldn't understand why his scent was the only thing that brought her any relief, but she clung to it like a lifeline.Meanwhile, in his own quarters, Logan was feeling restless. He paced back and forth, trying to focus on his duties, but his mind kept drifting back to Andrea. He could feel her pain through their bond, and it gnawed at him, making it difficult to concentrate. Alex, his wolf, was in a state of ag
