Shirley turned to Amelia and asked, "I thought you said the drive was going to last for about twenty minutes or so? How come it didn't even last up to five minutes?"
"Yeah, I did say twenty minutes but maybe I miscalculated or Dominic is just a fast driver who doesn't care about speed limits, just like me," Amelia said shrugging in nonchalance.
"He is definitely not like you, as far as I know, the drive here was slow and comfortable and it was nothing like our drive back home earlier today. Knowing who you are, you must have deliberately exaggerated so as to make us prepare on time," Shirley said.
"Think whatever you like but we are here now and we need to get down from the car this instance," Amelia said reaching for the door handle, but before she could get to the handle of the door, Dominic opened it from outside.
