It was strange. After Leo rejected our baby and promised to dissolve our contract in a week, I wasn't myself anymore. I was in love with him yet he did not love me like I felt he did. He even had the guts to carry me like a fugitive to the hospital. I decided to steer clear of him so that I could forget him and probably stop loving him.

However, the pain was unbearable. He was everywhere I turned at work and at home. Then all of a sudden, he came home with presents after he had rejected my food and treated me like a leper. I could not understand what was going on. I thought he was sick or I was hallucinating but it was real. Leo was trying all he could to make me forgive him. He sent me gifts and I caught him staring at me several times. It was as if he had encountered a divine power because his attitude change was unexplainable.
