Whether night or day passed while locked in a concrete box was frustrating and it often seemed impossible to know. All I could pass it on was when night came. males are given to us once a day and it wasn't even anything concrete. as a servant who opened cooked food for the prisoners in the dungeons but it was never this kind of food. it was always something better. not too fancy but better. there had to be a reason why they were feeding us this.

“How are you finding your time here now? Do you still feel that everyone here is an enemy to you? We have learnt to live together Alondra. if not then you become lonely and you go out of your mind.’’

It felt to me as if she was different. She wanted something else and she just wasn't saying it directly. It only confused me more because I couldn't understand why she even cared to begin with.
