"Finally!"
A man was staring at the full moon shining brightly from the window. He wiped the corner of his lip that was still wet with fresh blood with his thumb. He turned around and looked at an old man who was sitting tied to a wooden chair.
"I apologise, old man! Although I detest doing it, I am unable to stop now. I believe that sleeping will improve your comfort. The second time won't hurt at all, I assure you.
He had bloodshot pupils and stared deeply at the old man. He made his way towards the elderly man while smirking at him. A pair of fangs appeared when his face was level with the elderly man.
"Hmmph..." The elderly man mumbled indistinctly as his mouth was covered in duct tape.
"Do you have anything to say for the last time?" the man asked as he raised one eyebrow.
The young man's question was answered with a nod of his head by the elderly man. The duct tape on his mouth had come off and he said, "Have mercy on this old man, son! I won't tell anyone about this!"
Unfortunately, I'm not as forgiving as you may assume, and that's a tired excuse. Ahh...humans and all their sneaky tricks. Humans are the most dangerous creatures in this earth, so I detest them for acting like they are the weakest.
"I have a family, and you must have a family like me," the elderly guy glared at the man.
"Yes, sir, you're right. I once had a family, but I slaughtered them, therefore I lost them... Like I'm about to do to you right now!"
"NO...!"
He bit the elderly man's neck and stopped when there was no more movement from him. He pushed the old man until his body fell to the floor. He clucked lazily while rolling his eyes as if bored by the scene presented in front of him.
The man walked to the other side of the window and looked at the house opposite. Boredom overwhelming him, he decided to get some fresh air outside. The man moved quickly towards the door and left the house.
Still with his quick movements, he found a large tree trunk along the residential driveway and looked up at the full moon once more. He circulated his gaze before bending down and growling. His body shook with the sound of breaking bones followed by a heavy groan. The clothes he was wearing had been torn apart and flung in random directions. His pupils, which were originally red in colour, turned yellow.
Now his entire body was covered in dense black fur. A few seconds later the man was standing on all fours. He sharpened all his senses to ascertain his surroundings from humans.
[A short walk might take the edge off my tension]
He ran away from the residential area towards the nearby forest and still sharpened his wolf sense of smell. After reaching the outer boundaries of the forest, he stopped for a moment to simply stretch his muscles. He sat on his hind legs on a large rock looking up at the full moon. He howled loudly at the moon in the hope that this full moon night would bring him a glimmer of happiness.
Now the black wolf walked slowly with increased vigilance. The wolf decided to stop at a bush with purple flowers. He paused for a long time while staring at the small wildflower and then stepped on it with one of his front paws.
After that, his sense of smell caught a very unfamiliar scent. The scent intoxicated him and prompted him to search for where the source of the scent came from.
[Feromone!] the voice inside the wolf confirmed it. He wanted to quickly find someone with the scent of pheromones that so lulled his sense of smell. He walked along the edge of the forest and found a girl who was walking alone at the edge of the forest bordering the highway.
He observed her while savouring her scent. The desire from within his body compelled him to mark the girl immediately. He came out of the bushes that bordered the forest to approach the girl.

"Why should I get involved with her?" cursed Edith to herself.
Edith walked on the side of the road, she didn't want to look back because she didn't want to be chased by Seth. Right now, she really hated that man and wanted to get away from him as soon as possible.
The road ahead was quite dark, only the light of the full moon illuminated her steps. Edith slowed down her pace. Right now she could only hear the sounds of forest animals playing together like a nature orchestra at night.
Edith shifted her gaze left and right. She was sure that Seth, was not following her. She realised that she was alone on the road. She remembered that she was currently on an alternative route to reach the Shepperton area.
Edith began to feel the cold touching her skin. She did not wear a jacket to protect her body from the cold, relying only on her arms to keep her warm. She kept walking down the long road ahead of her, even though the atmosphere around her was getting tense.
Indeed, for some people, an emotionally charged self will dismiss any fears that lie ahead. Edith felt that way right now. She didn't care about the eerie sounds in the forest around her. She was struggling with her own thoughts, whether to believe Seth's words or stick to her stance.
"Shit! This is really frustrating!"
Edith gave up, she didn't want to think about it anymore, so she just walked with a blank stare towards the road. At a glance, she seemed to hear the sound of rustling leaves not far from the road she was walking on. She stopped her steps and confirmed the situation for a moment.
"Who's there? Seth, is that you?"
She looked towards the direction. Squinting her eyes into the darkness of the forest, she seemed to see a pair of yellow eyes burning from the direction of the sound. As if returning Edith's gaze, the pair of eyes moved closer slowly. The pair of yellow eyes moved closer to her, followed by a furry body with its four legs propping the body up on the ground.
Edith widened her eyes, she backed away slowly. She looked at the yellow eyes once more and started to feel frightened when the beast started growling and showing its fangs. From its movements, it looked like it wanted to pounce on Edith. Edith fell to the ground, her heart already racing.
The beast was already in the air and ready to pounce on Edith. Edith screamed loudly hoping that someone or a vehicle would pass by to help her, but not a single sound came out of her mouth. She became weak and her vision once again began to darken, she could only hear the loud growling and snorting of the beasts around her. The next second Edith couldn't hear anything anymore.
She only said hoarsely, "What exactly...was that...hhh?"
As Seth watched Edith leave him, he was unable to keep her in his car. As a result, he could only remain silent as he watched her walk away from him. The guilt overcame him, making him powerless. He longed to hold Edith, but was too afraid to accept the fact that she would hate him even more. Seth gasped, his sense of smell catching an unfamiliar scent. The scent of a wolf, but he did not recognise it. The wolf was not from this neighbourhood. His gaze was already drawn towards the forest on the side of the road. Seth searched in the darkness, trying to find and be alert. Up ahead, Edith was walking alone! Seth got out of the car. He could already hear the rustling sound of leaves and branches being trampled. He looked up to the sky, the moon was already shining fully, casting its light on the earth. His body was already shaking violently, the pores of his skin had turned into light brown hairs. The nails on his hands and feet that were originally white and short in size, instantly l
Seth looked at Edith who was lying facing him. Her face looked pale, almost the same color as her blond hair. Fatigue graced her face, but it did not diminish her natural beauty. Seth convinces himself that he will change to become more responsible for Edith and his future child, and is immediately curious. Seth whispered, "Edith, have you really slept?" "Not yet, what else is there, Seth?" "Can I touch your belly?" Edith opened her eyes and fell silent. He looked at Seth and tried to understand Seth's question sentence. Not to mention that she had to accept that at this time she was in the presence of that man. He hated this kind of situation, but he brushed it off and succumbed to the situation. Edith would let one part of her body be slightly touched by the guy. Edith's green eye bead penetrated Seth's defense, just like that night. He felt blood rushing all over his body. His blood vessels felt dilated as if to support his blood flow. His body began to tremble violently. Seth
Edith was sitting on the sofa. Her eyes were looking straight ahead at a wolf that was gallantly standing on all four of its legs. All the fur on its body was brown, just as she had seen it last night. What made it seem even more strange to her at this point was that the wolf had the same colour of eyes as Seth's. It must be that she is having a dream right now. Edith slapped her cheek and it hurt! There was a hint of redness on her pale face. Edith felt her head become dizzy. All the objects in the room seemed to be spinning. Edith tried not to close her eyes, but it was no use as her grip on the sofa began to loosen as the darkness blocked her vision. Edith awoke to feel an intense warmth in her palms. She saw Seth asleep in a chair, holding her white hands. Edith touched Seth's face with one of her free hands. "If only you were different, maybe I wouldn't hate you." Seth was startled by the touch to his face. He opened his eyes to see Edith staring at him fiercely. "I want my
She had recently heard that Seth would not touch her without her permission, or perhaps Edith might have assumed that Seth was trying to show his good intentions in an effort to make things better. Edith could sense his earnestness as he kissed her forehead. Because there would be no conflict between them, each option would sound better. Throughout her pregnancy, Edith wanted to foster a positive atmosphere because she was sick of their frequent squabbling. Edith suddenly remembered the black wolf she had previously encountered in the woods. The wolf was built similarly to Seth. It couldn't have been that enormous if it had been an ordinary wolf. "Seth, did that black wolf I saw look like you too?" "Yes." "Did you recognise him?" "No." “Do wolves prey on humans?" Seth chuckled. The man laughed so hard at Edith's query that he even covered his lips. Edith scowled while believing her remarks to be accurate. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to mock you. Just because your inquiry is so
Edith was walking in the yard with Seth. Edith looked like she was talking to herself because Seth was just staring at her, but every nod and shake of the head from Seth meant every question Edith asked her. "To be honest, I'm happier to see you as a wolf than your human form. I’m sorry to trouble you, I don’t know why I asked you to turn into a wolf.” A new confession from her mouth made Seth walk around Edith. After turning around, the wolf approached Edith and put his head close to Edith's shoulder. Edith rubbed the brown wolf fur nape who was now sitting on her hind legs. Edith suddenly felt the look in Seth's eyes change. His gaze looked blank for a moment and returned to the initial mode into a look full of vigilance. Seth shifted into a human and speaks, "Go inside! I have to go, there’s something to take care of." Edith covered her face. She didn't want to see Seth who wasn't wearing a single piece of clothing to cover his body at this time. "Seth, put your clothes on!"
Edith and Seth are in the garden. They sat on benches under the tree just to get away from the noise and cynical gazes of the female students. Facing negative attacks from the whole school made Edith very sad, she didn't want any of this to happen to her. “I'm not who they claim I am. Why do they treat me that way?” Edith whispered. ”After all, we can't control what they say, therefore they just don't know what happened. You don't need to prove anything to them, so stop listening to them. They'll always be rotter. I'm here for you, Edith. There will likely be a one-on-one fight after the simple milk beaten.” "Please, Seth, don't! I do not want that to occur simply because I am arguing with others,” Edith pleaded. “They aren't even truly humans, Edith. Everyone in the school is a werewolf; only you are truly human.” "What? So that's why you play pranks on them often and they never fight back, and that's also why you treated me this way, right? “They do envy you, yes. It was an ord
"Doctor Ashley, are you able to come to my house now? Edith fainted, I don't know why... she is like possessed... Okay, I'm waiting!" Seth ended his phone call with Doctor Ashley. Seth was still looking at Edith who was lying on the bed. He remembered very well how Edith became a different person. The girl floated with a bluish aura glowing around her body. The look on her face full of anger was clearly printed at that time. Seth clearly saw Edith's aura. It was supernatural things. Supernatural beings like him can feel supernatural elements from other creatures. What's more, he is a werewolf, his overall senses are even more sensitive many times than human. He had only ever seen a few wizards with white and black auras. White aura for wizards with white magic elements and black aura for wizards with black magic elements. From the data Seth has about Edith, she is not from the wizarding lineage. Seth touched Edith's hand, so cold and pale. The quilt covering her body was already t
"Excuse me, Miss! Can I ask you for help? My name is Kai Gregory, I live next door. The water pipe in our house is broken, the plumber is on holiday, can I use the toilet in your house?" greeted the pale-faced man. "You are..." Edith looked straight into the man's face. "I am the grandson of the Gregory family." "Oh yes, come in! How is your grandfather? I haven't seen him for a long time." Edith walked to the front door of her house and turned the key to open the door. She stepped in first and was followed by the man behind her. "Oh, he's good. My grandfather is sleeping now. I'm sorry if I trouble you!" "Ah, it's okay. Your grandfather also often helps me to repair broken things in this house. The toilet at the end of the corridor is just straight." "Okay." The man named Kai followed Edith's instructions and entered the toilet. Edith looked at him until he disappeared behind the door. Edith continued her steps towards the kitchen and opened the refrigerator. She took some s
Edith was surprised but was immediately able to behave normally. Julie communicated with Edith in the form of soul projection like Jovanka did. She explained to Edith how Katarina's magic bond worked on her. Her aunt had made Julie's body a receptacle for her soul so that she could live forever without an immortal mate. [Don't make Katarina suspicious. I need something ancient and powerful like your pendant to kill the witch."] "I understand," Edith whispered as quietly as possible. [Dad?] Now Julie was talking to Seth. She asked Seth to lead Liam to this place, so she could destroy the objects together. Seth was surprised that only Julian could mindlink with her and he was surprised that his daughter could do that with him too. [Wait for me, Julie.] [Okay, dad] Meanwhile Julie was casting spells and curses on Matilda with her theatrical body. Seth found Liam standing in the centre of the altar. The wolf was preparing himself for his ritual that was not carried out hundreds of y
"Julie will be with me until she is 17 years old. She will be a great witch because I will teach her my skills. You see? She's bound to me."Katarina said it smoothly. Of course Edith had thought that Katarina wanted Julie too. Edith was more inclined to Katarina's consideration because she was still her family. She wouldn't hurt her own family. She also couldn't just break it off because Julie still had a father. Seth would not agree to the consideration because Katarina had attacked his pack members and even made him die in the past. Everything became a dilemma for Edith. At a crucial time like this, Edith must be able to decide quickly. More than a dozen pack members' lives are in her hands. Only Katarina could open the portal to find their whereabouts."All right, but on the condition that you break the bond between the two of you," said Edith."Tough choice.""Don't waste our time, witch!" snapped Jen sarcastically."Just do it and I'll break the bond as soon as you let us go. Ju
After Jovanka told Edith that Julie was at the Bloodworth Coven mansion, Edith immediately rushed to the place with Kai. Kai guided Edith because he knew the fastest way to that direction. Edith also asked two warriors, Jen and Jed to escort them during their journey to France.Once they reached Versailles, Edith and Kai immediately moved at their vampire speed while Jen and Jed shifted into wolves. The four meet by the lake according to the terms of the deal proposed by Kai. The mansion inhabited by the oldest vampire clan was protected by a veil from being seen by humans.Only Edith and Kai could see through the veil that separated the lakeside from the spacious courtyard of the mansion. Jen and Jed watched until they turned their heads to the left and right just to see what Kai had cancelled."Can you see it, Jed?" asked Jen when they had turned human again."Same as you. I only see the pine trees.""You hold Jen's hand while I hold Jed's. Only
"She chose a hotel as a residence? How strange."From the clues given by Kellan, Seth arrived at a three-star hotel. He knocked gently on the door but there was no answer from inside. Seth repeated and called out.He put his ear to the door and sharpened his sense of hearing. His ears did not hear any activity from inside the room. He pushed the door, which was not closed tightly."Hello?"Seth walked into the room. He saw two empty beds and several bottles of liquor on the table. He continued to check the rest of the room but found no one in the room."Is grandpa wrong?"Seth finally decided to leave the room. Lingering in that place would only be a waste of time while Julie was in danger. He had to use the time available to find his daughter.*"Hello..."Katarina grinned at the two guards on the left side of the mansion gate. Then she simply moved her hand so quickly that the two guards went into convulsions. Until they slumped to the ground, Katarina just looked at them with an ar
"Bye, mom."Julie waved at Edith, who smiled at her from the main terrace. Right beside Julie, Kai waved goodbye to Alexandra. He was in charge of escorting Julie to her school according to Seth and Edith's orders.Julie hoped that her ride this time would not have any obstacles like yesterday because of the witch. She played with the jar of moths that she had caught last night because they had entered her room. Noticing it with a smile, Julie brought the moth to keep her company on the way to school. The silence was broken when the car stopped slowly. Julie saw three pale-faced men standing in front of their car. Kai quickly got out of the car and approached the three men."I guess Mikael was so desperate that he sent you guys on this sunny day just to cheer me up. Speaking of which, how's Blanche doing after I squeezed her heart?"One of the three growled angrily. Without saying much, the man attacked Kai by grabbing him by the neck. Kai coughed until both of his hands tried to rele
"Fuck, I really hate them."Margot shouted, breaking the chandelier after clenching her fists in the air. She felt exasperated by the incident. Her anger was not channelled just because she saw the offspring of the person who made her miserable for the past 200 years. The seven rogue wolves surrounding her gasped in surprise and looked at each other. When the chandelier made a loud shattering sound, Gautier got up from the chair. He advanced towards Margot and looked deeply at her."What exactly is your problem with those brown wolves? From what I saw you were flirting with them earlier," Gautier was irritated by Margot's attitude."That's none of your concern."Margot looked away. Obviously, that made Gautier suspicious. Margot's words and deeds were inversely proportional and he wanted to know the truth."Tell the truth. We all need to know it, apart from the reason for the werewolf race to triumph again. It doesn't make sense that a witch would have the sincerity to help a werewolf
"I knew you'd be here soon..."Kellan looked straight at Seth, who was sitting opposite him. He lifted the cup filled with chamomile tea and sipped slowly. In his twilight years, Kellan only had to reap the benefits of what he had sown.Seth didn't move. He waited for his grandfather to start talking. On cloudy mornings like now, sitting in front of the fireplace was one way to ward off the cold that blew in from the window."I'm at the point of no return. I need to find the truth soon because I feel like the witch is after me.""I saw the trials coming at Red Crescent Moon. Yeah, I experienced that back then too. Challenging the Alpha takes a lot of courage because it's the same as betraying her.""That's what I'm doing now...I need to solve this problem right away, sis. I'm looking to you for guidance."Kellan rubbed his chin. For a moment, he considered whether to tell the truth or not. He didn't want to be seen as a horrible werewolf by his grandson, but after seeing the worried l
"You remain calm even when your life is at risk, like now."Eva smiled. She couldn't laugh because her stomach would feel like it was being pulled. Eva had already made peace with her love story with Christian; after all, the bond of the wolves was stronger than any magic in this world."By the way, thank you for helping me. Even though you suffered like this.""Bloody witch. She's not enrolled in the Idris Council, and I've never seen her. I have a bad feeling about her, Chris."Not only Eva, but Chris also had the same feeling about Margot. He observed how she looked at Seth when Seth was motionless. Margot seemed to be possessed by an aura of hatred when she last looked at Seth before she disappeared into the portal.*"The vampires already know about Skyler's condition. Your enemies are not just two but three."Seth massaged his temples. He thought hard about all the possibilities that would happen. Plus, the vampire clan from now on could not be underestimated. After hearing the
"Gau-tosser huh..."Seth teased Gautier to provoke him. He saw the wry grin on Gautier's face, which meant that he understood Seth's harsh words to him. Afterwards, Gautier was able to control his emotions again."Do you want to fight as a human or a wolf? I'll give you three seconds to answer."Seth raised three fingers in the air. He folded his fingers one by one slowly and got no serious answer from Gautier. After folding his last finger, Seth made a move to attack Gautier in human form.Seth ran quickly towards Gautier, but just before Seth's hand touched Gautier's face, the werewolf shifted back into wolf form and managed to bite Seth's hand with his fangs."Shit!"Seth instantly shifted his form back into that of a wolf. He immediately bit Gautier's tail because it was the part of Gautier's body that he managed to reach. With his strength, Seth bit Gautier's tail firmly and pulled so that Gautier's bite on his hand could be released.Seth managed to free his hand from the black
