To say, I wasn't scared to my death, would be a plain lie. I felt my heart nearly stopped beating when I saw Adeline rolling towards the lake and I knew if she'd fallen into the freezing cold and deep water, she may not make it out alive and I would have lost the love of my life once again and this time, I'd not be able to survive.

"I am sorry, Xavier. I am already feeling like shit and your silence isn't helping either." She said giving me a puppy face.

"Adeline, I won't lie to you, I am really mad at you for lying to me. You could have died there and we may not be able to even trace your body. Do you really think it's a way of having fun because I wasn't entertained." I gave her a peace of my mind.
