My heart wasn’t at ease since I woke up from a dreamless sleep. Xavier left for work before me. I couldn’t blame him since my sleep was broken at eight. He left a note for me on my bedside table that he’d come back early from the office. He asked me to go out with him. He never fails to grab a chance for dates.

I also haven’t much to do at office. So, I decided to say yes to his offer. I left him a quick text knowing he must be engrossed in his work.

It’s four in the evening, I came out of my office building. Xavier would return around six means I still I have two hours. I missed my mother but I couldn’t go back to that house. Although, Xavier assured me that my father wouldn’t hurt a single hair on my head but facing him is a total different case. He terrifies me.
