SERENA’S POV

I ended up going outside and letting Kelly stay inside the house, asking her to notify security that Gray did something magical again that he was able to get in front of our house without notifying us.

I took a deep breath as I followed one of our maids, unsure of what to tell him once he opened the topic of me, being his wife whom he thought died years ago.

I had my face emotionless when I saw him get alarmed by my presence, immediately walking toward me as soon as he saw me get outside.

“What are you doing here? Who allowed you to be here?” I asked, not giving him time to talk first. As much as I could, I did not want to talk about what happened earlier. I wasn’t even sure if I was ready to open that topic. I wasn’t sure if I could already say the right words now.

“Jane…”

I tried hard not to fucking react even though I could already feel that this night would be hell for me again. My temples were already tingling, and I was already anticipating a fresh set of fucking me

She didn’t seem to care at first, but now that she heard it, one of her brows rose.“Why are you saying that to me? You must tell that to Mr. Moore because he is the one who’s gonna be with the girl. I am out of their business…” she answered, shaking her head lightly.I did not react, but her indifference was like a knife in my chest. Now that I knew the truth, the difference she had from before was really obvious. She rarely smiled and always rolled her eyes at people. The old Jane would never do that. She would cry for being so guilty if she ever became mean.It didn’t matter. I liked both versions of her. “Mr. Moore, Ms. Ambers is gone. JANE'S POV“Where’s Gray?” I asked the maid as I held my father’s urn. I just went back from the funeral home where my father’s remain was cremated. As an only daughter, no one was with me as I processed everything regarding his death. Even my husband, who was always so busy with his family’s business, didn’t come with me.“He is upstairs, Ma’am. Do you want me to call him for you? He just got back from his office,” the maid offered, but I shook my head to refuse. With tears trickling down my face, I went upstairs to see him, hoping that maybe tonight, now that my father was dead, he would be here to comfort me.“Ooh, Gray! I like that! Please, I wanna cum so bad!”“I’ll make you cum, Hazel…”Standing at the doorway, my hands shook as I tried to convince myself that this was not our room. I refused to believe that Gray would bring another woman here. Not in our household. But no matter how I tried to fool myself that this was not happening, their moans were becoming louder as time pa

JANE'S POV“When is she gonna be okay, Doc? It had been months…”“Fortunately, Mrs. Jane Moore’s vitals are okay now. In the meantime, she needs to stay in bed. The intense impact of the collision damaged her legs.”“Can she still walk?”“She must undergo therapy to be able to walk again. Don’t worry, Madame. The chances of her full recovery are high. We just need to be a little patient.” Monitor beeps and muffled voices were the first sound to register in my ear. Sluggishly, my heavy eyelids started opening. Crystal white coffered ceiling was my first initial sight. I had a glimpse of people in my peripheral vision, and they seemed to be conversing about me. The immobility of my neck made it hard for me to know who they were. “A-Aah…” I tried to make a sound but even my throat started hurting. The word came out so raspy as if I hadn’t tasted water for weeks. What happened to me? “Oh my goodness, Doc! She’s awake!” the woman near me exclaimed. There were sudden movements around me

JANE'S POV— 2 years later —“We successfully bought Mrs. Baker’s share. Right now, we are one of Moore Estate’s major shareholders…” Miranda, my secretary, announced. Hearing that, a sly smile erupted from my lips, satisfied that everything was going according to plan.Well, well. What a good news to start this month. I wasn’t wrong when I asked my siblings to go back to Texas weeks before the Moore Estate’s anniversary. As one of the major shareholders, we would be invited, to be sure. “I can’t believe that Mrs. Baker would sell her husband’s share right after he passed. Poor woman. She probably doesn’t know how the business world works…” Kaihly, Kelly’s twin, remarked, her head resting on my shoulder. “It’s just perfect, alright? I mean, so sad that he died but duh? We got the shares! Jane finally has access to that company!” Kelly responded, clapping her hands for me. I did not comment. I had been waiting for this. I made sure that I would get access to that family's assets once

GRAY’S POV“A pleasant evening, everyone. It is an honor to stand in front of you today. To be honest, I didn’t expect this company to be this grand. I am a little pressured…”The guests who were unfamiliar with Jane laughed and cheered for her, while the others who knew my deceased wife, remained clueless about what was happening. My muscles were tensed, and my eyes could not leave the woman’s presence.“What kind of nonsense is this?! Why is that woman on the stage? Is this a joke? Mom! Do something about this!”Aerah was the first to react. Her sudden burst out took the attention of the guests that were previously drawn by Jane. Aerah’s reaction broke the ice that stiffened me in my seat. Damn, Aerah. This was not the time to be a fucking brat!“Aerah, sit down!” I ordered, my voice almost a whisper. She looked at me incredulously, her mouth slightly parted. She stood up, scoffing, making her the center of attention. Even Jane, who looked at her like she was a scandalous stranger

SERENA’S POV“Oh, your son’s here, Madame Geraldine. Since you’re acting like nothing’s happening here, do you want me to initiate and tell him about the accusations you’re throwing at me?” I offered, blatantly displaying a fake smile. The old woman’s eyes squinted, her lips turning flat. I turned my gaze on Gray, and just like how he looked at me the moment I showed myself on stage, his eyes were filled with confusion and mystery.“You’re so quiet… I don’t like it.”His silence reminded me of the days when I badly wanted to spend time with him, but I would always get nothing. Hearing that, Gray cleared his throat, swallowing.“I deeply apologize for all the troubles happening right now, Ms. Ambers—”“Don’t be. I am already disappointed. Given how wonderful this party looked, I never expected such treatment like this. If you want to redeem yourself, I suggest to stop trying tonight. Everything’s still fresh—”“Oh, shut up! • The Ex-Wife's Revenge   124: Let Them Know Who You Are

SERENA’S POV“What the hell? You did not even deny anything, Landon? Huh? What the hell is going on with you? You really slapped Gray with the truth that Serena is Jane? Are you fucking kidding me?” Kelly couldn’t bring herself to calm down right after Landon told him everything that happened in the Moore Estates. We were complete in the lounge area. Caden and Kaihly were sitting next to each other, both of them stopping what they were doing. My mother was just sitting two seats away from them, silent as she drank from her wine glass. I was silent, too, while Landon was trying to calm my sister down. He wasn’t doing well. One more stupid thing that he would say and Kelly would throw things at him. We were both at fault for being so careless, but Landon, not making a story to cover the truth just ended all of us. “Enough, Kelly. There’s no use in being mad right now. We are now caught and the secret has been revealed. There is no going back now—” “It is so easy to say that but what

  • The Ex-Wife's Revenge   123: Fooled Twice

GRAY’S POV Hearing Serena’s conversation with Landon made me fucking freeze on the ground. What the hell is this bastard talking about? What does he mean by my sister abusing Serena when Serena was still living with us? “What the hell is going on? Is it fucking true, Serena? Jane?” I asked, trying to fucking confirm what was running in my mind. Do I even need a confirmation? It came from their mouths. I was not dumb to not think that they were talking about Jane, my ex-wife. I walked toward them without breaking eye contact with my wife. The terror in her eyes just confirmed that everything that bastard said was true. “G-Gray?” Jane called me, her voice shaking. I stared at her intently. Is she really my wife? I fucking had no idea where to start. She had been staying with us for the past months now, pretending to be a different person. Pretending to be someone far from Jane. I had my answer about who she really was, but everything wasn’t clicking yet. The pieces that I was tr

SERENA’S POVI immediately pulled away from Gray’s kiss when the door barged open, revealing the one and only Aerah Celine Moore, who I thought was getting stopped by my secretary to go in.Miranda failed, though. She could only hold her arm to prevent her from attacking me.“Let go of me, you bitch! I need to talk to your shitty boss right now and show her who am I!”What I did here with Gray hadn’t even gone inside my head completely, yet I was about to face another chaos from a Moore again. I secretly fixed my messed up clothes to not raise another issue.I turned my body to see Aerah completely, my chin up as I faked my confidence. I was a fucking slut after letting that bastard kiss me. How can I fucking do that?“What is your problem with me this time, Aerah? Long time no see. I wonder what made you go here this early?” I started, crossing my arms against my chest. I signaled Miranda to let the woman do what she wanted, and I got a sigh as her response as she let Gray’s sister l

SERENA’S POVMy head was aching so badly. I woke up in my bedroom, all the lights were dimmed except for the lamp beside my bed.Everything seemed to be adding up right now. Charles was telling me that Gray was cheating on me in my memory, but I did not believe him. Is that the reason why Gray was telling me to stay away from him? He was the one who ruined Gray and I’s marriage, according to my ex-husband.I caressed my head and rested my back on the headboard. I felt like I was close to knowing the truth. Lucia told everything she knew to Kaihly and Caden, except the part where she couldn’t tell me about my memories because I couldn’t handle anything. My doctor told us that we should let it go back naturally or I would shit myself again.I agreed. The pain when my memory would be back without force was almost absent whenever it happened. For sure, Miranda told them about Charles already. SERENA’S POV— Jane’s Memory —“Oh gosh, Charles. Why are you even telling me this? Gray is always busy and he would never have the time to screw other girls. He couldn’t even go home to our house because of his hectic schedule…”I found it ridiculous to think that Gray would have all the time in his world to have another woman aside from me. Since his father died, he barely went home because of the workload that his father left him in the company. I understood him, and I sometimes pitied him because all I saw was a man who was tired of dealing with so much stuff.I couldn’t do that. I would die first if my father died and left all the stress that he was enduring to me. He didn’t train me for that, unlike Gray who had been doing things in their company since he got married to me.“Oh goodness, Jane. Why are you even asking for my help if you won’t believe me? You said to spy on your husband, right? I am just telling you what I know,” Charles defended, drinking the alcohol he ordered.
