Chapter 634 How Could You Forget Penny?

Penny fell silent, feeling as though her heart had been squeezed by an invisible force.

Caleb continued to walk toward the hotel, and she reluctantly followed behind him.

He suddenly stopped, causing her to bump into his back. She was caught off guard.

Penny was worried that he might get angry, so she quickly stepped back to create some distance between them.

When they returned to the hotel room, she handed him the painkillers.

"Mr. Fergerson, here are the painkillers."

Caleb, however, noticed the bloodstains on the pills and frowned. He refused to take them. He curtly replied, "Deal with your own injuries first."

With that, he headed straight to the bedroom to rest.

Penny went to the living room, retrieved the first aid kit, and began tending to her scraped palms.

The painkillers she bought remained untouched on the coffee table.

After she disinfected and bandaged her wounds, she leaned back as she was exhausted. It did not take long before Penny drifted into her dreams.
