Chapter 596 Caleb’s Feelings Meant Absolutely Nothing

She clenched her fingers into a fist when she felt him trying to slide the diamond ring onto her finger.

Caleb frowned, seemingly forgetting that he was supposed to be gentle with her. He forced her fingers apart and shoved the ring on.

Penny jerked her hand away. The ring flew through the air in a beautiful curve before it landed on the ground and rolled into a corner.

Caleb did not say anything either.

They remained that way for almost three minutes before she shrugged.

“I think you might be drunk, Mr. Fergerson.”

Caleb was so angry his eyes became red-rimmed. He grabbed her by the chin and kissed her without a second thought.
