Chapter 352 Mr. Fergerson, My Husband Is Terribly Busy

Penny was frozen in her tracks. If she did not know Nani was at Dawn Haven Villa, she might have taken Caleb's words at face value.

She thought to herself, ‘Why would Caleb detain a dog?’

She shook her head, feeling a mixture of amusement and disbelief. She hurried to catch up with him and attempted to reason with him, "Mr. Fergerson, Nani is missing. I don’t think you misspoke. Where did you see her? Tell me and I'll go look for her."

Caleb paused, his demeanor as sharp as his white shirt and black suit.

"Why don't you and your hubby search for the dog together? You might find her."

Penny halted, her words caught in her throat.

Caleb had already reached the elevator, and Penny felt like she had to follow suit.

"Mr. Fergerson, my husband is terribly busy."

Her voice held a hint of helplessness as her expression became tinged with frustration.

Caleb's gaze remained icy and detached.

"Well, when he's less occupied, he can join the search. Penny, you have about five minutes. I
