“Uncle Leo, Aunt Sue, we should go and get Nathan back first. Let him apologize at the hospital.”

Sue quickly nodded in agreement. “Alright, alright. Let’s go now.”

As Leo and Sue were about to leave, they turned to ask Jenni, “Jenni, are you coming with us?”

Jenni rolled her eyes and scoffed coldly. “Why should I care if that weakling dies?”

Sue looked upset, but she did not retort.

Penny, who was standing nearby, was angered by what she heard but felt helpless. After all, it was a family matter.

She accompanied the couple to the police station. Before they even entered, they could hear Nathan crying loudly inside.

A pang of concern hit Sue’s heart. They walked into the hall and saw Nathan badly beaten, his face bruised and swollen. It seemed he was attacked by some thugs on his way to the police station, making him almost unrecognizable.

Sue quickly approached and grabbed Nathan’s hand.
