Jayden thought that Caleb was about to give up on protecting Leon because of what he said.

"Dad, you need to think twice! The Morrisons shouldn't declare war against the Fermers for an outsider's sake! We will suffer losses for nothing," Jayden said.

Before he could finish his sentence, Caleb cut him off. "Shut up, Jayden. I know what I'm doing. I don't need you to teach me what to do," Caleb roared with a dark expression.

He knew that Jayden was doing this to protect the family as he did not wish for the Morrisons to work for Leon over nothing.

However, Jayden was too short-sighted and could only consider the benefit before him, unlike Hugo.
