"Thud! Thud!" seeing that there was no way out of this anymore, Rick got on his knees and was followed suit by Eugene, Nigel, and the rest of the Scammells that had betrayed them.

After so long, most of the other elders and the collateral descendants of the first bloodline had arrived at the scene and managed to gain control of the situation under Damian's leadership.

"Patrick, this is all my fault. I'm sorry… Please… forgive us for this…" Rick pleaded for mercy.

He would not be so infuriated if this had just been Rodney and Charlie's plan to devour the Scammells' assets alone — what ticked him off the most was that Rick, his own brother, had betrayed him and gone over to the dark side!
