Harper's POV

I looked at the silent street as Richardson drove off to the location where he said he would be meeting Luke. He had just told me the kind of deal that he made with Luke this evening, which I was really pissed about.

"Are you still angry at me? I told you that I am really sorry." Richardson's voice interrupted my thoughts, making me sigh. I was just tired of everything at this point.

"Sorry isn't going to fix whatever deal you had made with him. Why didn't even you kill her on the spot after you saw her? She escaped within the midst of you two!" His apologizing wasn't going to do anything except make me angry.

"Just focus on it; let's reach another destined location." I added to my sentence looking back at the road.
